It's was a good stay, but a bit outdated. I was expecting a bit more after staying at the same hotel in Singapore. Staff was nice and helpful.

The rooms DO NOT look like the pictures. The pictures looks like they were taken 10 years ago. Rooms are dirty and smelly. carpets don't look like they have been vacuumed in a long time, shower curtains were yellow and ceiling boards in the toilet were broken and misplaced. there were holes in the boards. Chairs in the room had some liquid stains and furniture where just dated and not well kept. The rooms are also kind of badly designed/old. No plugs near the bed so you cannot charge ur phone within easy access and switches for the room light are at the door only and not by the bed, so you would have to walk all the way to the door to turn off the light before getting to bed. Just overall a terrible experience. I won't recommend anyone to stay here.

D room is not spacious, just nice to fit in only. During my 2nd day of staying, I was shocked to find out that one of small towel was not changed to a new fresh one; and what I got is a half wet one & could tell it's a used towel!! OMG!! Hopefully can improve on this!

The environment is good, but the noise next door is loud, which affects sleep. The bathroom and shower room need to be improved. There needs to be a place to put clean towels in the shower room.

I’ve stayed here before. Though the room is a bit small, it has everything u need. Nice.neighborhood, with plenty of dining spots, including McDonalds right across the street. The restaurant serves tasty Malaysian cuisine, though it’s not cheap. The biggest problem is the breakfast buffet is so overpriced for what u get.

Great stay at the Jen Hong Kong! We selected to stay here as: 1- we wanted to stay on HK island 2- affordability 3- the convenience of being in the Sai Ying Pun neighborhood: walkability to stores and cafes along with access to transportation I travelled with my partner and parents. My parents stayed in the adjoining room so that was really nice to be on the same floor and have rooms so close to each other. The room was spacious, modern, and clean. I especially liked the window seat for extra room and to look at the harbour, I chose this for both our room and my parents' room. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was also very nice - great shower pressure! The lobby was ok, nothing spectacular. The front desk was helpful but would get busy quickly. We also tried the restaurant on the 2nd floor, Cafe Malacca restaurant - food was expensive compared to local eats but very tasty and a nice change from Chinese cuisine. Would consider staying here again!

Staffs at front desk are excellent. I really appreciate Leon for all his help and quick response. The property is a bit old, there is water dripping from tap after bath, and need to really try to push a bit more to stop the water from dripping. The road nearby is really rough for carrying big luggage to get through smoothly. So taking taxi or MTR are better than taking bus if you are travelling with big luggage.

The hotel is in a cosy location and easily accessible by tram or MTR. Highly recommended if you're looking to stay away from the crowds but still somewhere accessible. The hotel is slightly old, but it is clean and comfortable.
