'The apartment is small and outdated as the photos show, but it met our needs. Quaint vintage furnishings add to the experience and the bed is also older so you may sleep more comfortably if you bring along a foam mattress topper. Enjoyed the neighborhood and convenient location just far enough off the beaten path. Also close to one of our favorite places to eat in the area - "The Galley Bar and Grill".'

'Jennifer was more than happy to accommodate us. We came from a distance and worked with our check in. The home was immaculate. The hot tub was a nice touch and great for the cool morning. 'We were in town for my son to participate in a wedding in Troy. The location is very central to restaurants, grocery and shopping. The check-in and entry/exit of the property was very clear and easy. James, the property manager, was incredibly accommodating and available to answer any of our questions or concerns. 'We enjoyed 3 days of recreation and relaxation by the lake. We took the kayaks out multiple times. It takes about 60-90 minutes to slowly paddle around the lake. There's a beaver's dam to visit, loads of lily pads/flowers, fish, turtles, and ducks. Less than 5 minutes away is a small park with a nice swimming area and hiking trails -- $2 admission per car. 'Clean and spacious apartment, close to campus - just what I needed. Loved the purple bedroom! Some noise from street (it is right on Route 7) and downstairs tenants. Potential guests should know that it is an upstairs apartment at the top of a steep staircase. This was fine for me but if someone is mobility-challenged or has heavy luggage, it could be an issue for them.'

'The property in is a very quiet place with beautiful views of the Battenkill River. There was plenty of room for our large dog to exercise. The owners were very professional and approachable. We did find kitchenware lacking in preparing our own food. The location was beautiful this time of year, but a bit out of the way as fair as restaurants and stores.'

'So glad we booked this place. We were a group of 14 (9 adults and 5 kids). The check in process was very straightforward, house was clean and everything was easy to use ( no long instructions or complicated process). House was big enough for the kids to run around ( inside and outside), we went hiking and for mornings walks, played football and baseball outside. You can go fishing but we didnt do it on this trip. The pool was warm and great for everyone. Great space with TV to watch the games....
