'Friendly welcome from reception and breakfast staff. Hotel was very noisy as I think there was a stag party or sporting event so we didnt sleep too well. Overall was a nice visit to a seaside resort in low season. Close to the beach. '

'The Viking House is not the Four Seasons or the Ritz. What it is though is a clean, quiet, cozy and humble hotel set in some of the most beautiful surroundings you can imagine. 'Rooms look old and need updating. Only 4 channels on the TV and the TV itself was a really old model, no chance of casting to it to cover for the lack of channels. When we arrived at 3.45pm we were told that in no uncertain terms that check in time was 4. There were loads of people around reception waiting for their room to be ready. Breakfast was generally a poor experience. On the first morning we waited 20 minutes to get the food after ordering it. We ordered more toast, waited 10 minutes...

'Het hotel ligt in een klein zee-haventje wat nog steeds gebruikt wordt. We hadden de familiekamer geboekt, maar er was iets misgegaan en wij kregen twee aparte kamers. Dát vonden onze tienerkinderen niet erg. Het gaat allemaal heel gemoedelijk en vriendelijk. Het hotel en de kamers zijn gedateerd, maar prettig en schoon. Het ontbijt is heerlijk.'
