'We were originally booked at Capt Inn & Suites and since they were closing prior to our booked reservation, we were moved to Thomson’s Resort. Thomson’s exceeded my expectations. It was really decorated nicely decorated and felt homey. The view off the balcony of Boldt Castle was spectacular as well! My only two critiques was that our room was located up 26 stairs and we weren’t told that ahead of time. I have a bad back so the stairs weren’t helpful and we tried to avoid going in and out...

'Location is within a short walk to the village which allowed us to explore, revist and connect with our new favorite businesses; however, the property was literally encased by boats. Boats in the front yard concelled the cottage, Boats on either side of the property were parked in the drveways which caused confusion, and jostling for parking on property. Inside was welcoming and clean which provided an nice retreat for a long weekend stay.'
