'The house was clean and in a beautiful setting. It was close to OU, which was the reason for our visit. The home definitely needs some TLC. Appliances, outlets, bathrooms, floors, window treatments all need love. This house could be incredible if it had money and love put into it.'

'Beautiful location and plenty of things to do with teens. Nice lake, hot tub, the setting is beautiful, plenty of space and seating for a large family. Lots of towels provided and a nice laundry provided too. The lower bathroom needs some love and there are some minor repairs needed to make this property a smidge better but I would book again.'

'We loved this place & property! My only negative comment is the towel situation- no kitchen towels, but sponges included. Nothing to dry dishes so had to use bathroom washcloths. Also we were only given two shower towels, but would have liked more for floor, my hair, etc. We were given 1 hand towel, 4-5 washclothes, and 2 shower towels. 'Our Daughter is attending OU and we have stayed in a couple Vrbo locations and will definitely be adding this one to our list. Just 15 minutes from campus and an easy drive. The guest house is quaint, comfy and wonderful. The bonus is that our dogs can join us. They have a fenced in paddock/meadow area for the dogs to run. We will be back!!'

'This beautifully decorated log cabin was perfect for our family outing! The property was comfortable for 3 couples, Great grandpa and 3 teens. The wrap around porch had plenty of seating. It was very peaceful and quiet setting. Everyone loved the hot tub daytime and evenings. Kitchen was nicely stocked except you need to bring your own spices. The property owners were very prompt and easy to deal with. We will definitely be back!'

'We had trouble with the kitchen stove an hot tub not working when we arrived, but they sent somebody out the same evening to take care of the issues. There are some small cosmetic things that should be addressed in the house but when we brought them to their attention they were very workable an made the inconveniences right with us! One big concern is the deck railing outside needs repaired an is not overly practical for small children at the current time! We will check with them for vacations...

'Tommy House was so cozy and comfy for our little family! Lena was a great host, very responsive throughout the start of my booking. We came for a last minute trip to do some hiking and Tommy house was a clean, comfortable space to be at! Also very accommodating for us bringing our toddler! We had all we needed for our stay! Favorite spot was the deck and the views from it! Thanks again!'

'Loved the serene location tucked away in Meigs County. It's incredibly peaceful with lots of space to walk on the property. We were able to watch the stars for a bit with so little light pollution around. The cottage is a really nice change of pace rather than dealing with overpriced hotels in Athens.
