Facilities are a bit old, yet the hotel crew makes their best to have it cleaned daily. It’s a good option to sleep if you’re looking for a spot near downtown and has access to quick routes. Lobby personnel is very helpful and friendly.

Charlie was one of the rudest people I’ve met in my life! I had to extend my stay for work twice. The first time i extended I went the the front desk and signed whatever paperwork he needed me to. The second day Charlie made me check completely out of the room and told me to come back at 2pm to recheck in. I am a former flight attendant and in all my years of traveling have I ever been asked to check out, pack my things and then come back.

The manager was rude. I had made a reservation that i forgot to add an additional day to and was called at my room for check out. I told him about the confusion and asked if it was alright to wait for my husband ro get in from work. It was a d SATURDAY, So he would have gotten off at 2pm and would have fixed our reservation. He told me i would still have to check out and re check back in. I have never heard of that. Neither had i heard of calling the headquarters and listing the current reservations. So i just gave in and packed. My husband missed two hours of work as he is a mechanic. Ive also seen a family get put out for similar. I packed and left. We came back after 5 pm and checked back in. Only to go from room 262 which is the best room on property, to going to room 158 which is a crack head room smelled bad and chipped paint mold and stomping from people that cant seem to sleep at all. Theres only 2 good rooms there and its fighting teeth and nails to get either of them. They will check all guest that book online into one of these horrible not up to standard rooms. Its worth 35 a night and after re checking back in 158 phone didnt work. My whole stay was evolved around 🙄 asking them to fix it. The manager he is the worst human i cant even stand it. I ask that any guest staying or planning to make a new reservation, take this into consideration. Also ive had someone scratch my car two different times and they refused to assist in helping me with who did it

Stay away from the Days Inn on 290 in Houston
Worst hotel experience I have ever had so thought I should spare someone else from making the same mistake. Days Inns can be great but this location had incredible rude staff, the plugs were pulled out of the walls, no hot water most of the time(only Luke warm), the satellite was not working properly so the TV would go in and out, the laundry facilities were closed, the bathroom in the lobby was closed, breakfast consisted of bread slices and cold biscuits(gravy was always gone, and the juice machine was broken. overall the place was dirty and poorly maintained. Staff threatened to charge $35 if not in the lobby by 11 sharp so not accommodating in the slightest. Days Inn should revoke their right to use their name.
Not exactly up to code, nor safe
There were 2 yogurts available the first day and 1 the second. Pretty slim pickings
Juice machine was broken the entire stay
Prices if something disappeared. We made sure housecleaning accounted everything was there before getting charged for anything at these prices

Tge hotel do not looms like the pictures online the lock at door was broke the ac did not work and my room was smell really bad i did not have more time to look for other hotel cuz was new years eve pass 10 when j get to the room The whorst part was when start rain the room feeling up witb water try to call fromt desk and the phkne did not work soni pack my stjff and left was the wjorst new r i ever have i turn the key at front dest and tell the clear and he did not consern one bit i really want the refound for that hotel stay and that hotel should be close

The first room had a used tampon in the corner of the bathroom and there was shredded pieces of paper on the carpet. The room are really old and the paint is chipping off. Really bad, close to the worse hotel I've ever stayed in.
