Pleasant stay
We stayed at Hadley House for two nights and had a wonderful stay. I honestly do not understand what many people are complaining about. The room (including the floor!) was clean and comfortable. Free coffee was good. Staff at reception was very friendly; I think we spoke to four different people and they were all nice and welcoming. Yes, there is no beach, but they don't claim there is. They offer 'ocean front' and that is true. Breakfast is simple, but hey, at least it is something. Again, this is a nice place to stay at and it does not deserve all the bad reviews it has received. Just go and stay there.

Room and facilities were as expected - decent value for money and no complaints. We only had a 2 night stay but on both days we found the elevator was in a pretty gross state (unfortunately some people find it acceptable to spit wherever they like - not the resorts fault but should have been checked for cleanliness at some point during the day) The breakfast offering was basic but acceptable. However, in spite of cereal being on offer there was no milk available on our first morning. Staff could have gone to a local store to purchase but chose not to so our toddler had to go without. Not great.

Our 2 bedroom room was very large and comfortable for our stay. Our beachfront room had a beautiful view, especially for sunrise! Pool was really nice to enjoy as well. We only stayed overnight but we will definitely plan to stay again soon and for a longer stay!

Staff was very helpful and friendly. It lists as water front, there is literly room for just 3 chairs on the waters edge, did i metion that you have to walk on rocks to get to the waters edge. No beach area. Or access for swimming in the ocean. The property is very dated. Paper thin walls, could hear the people in the next room as clearly as the people in my room. Yhe main check in and office, were the breakfast and bicycle pick up area is across the street from the main hotel and cottages. The Marina, staff were friendly and helpful. However the jet skiis and boats are very worn, and old.

Poor staffing and no one made our rooms up . Got locked out during office hours and no one was available to let us in. Office staff tried to charge additional fees that were not part of the price for the rooms . Definitely a scam!

Old property. Air conditioner in suite's main room was not cooling. This was a problem in January, but it would be much bigger problem in summer months. Answer to everything when notifying front desk is that they can move you. We get the sense that this is not a NEW problem, but an existing one and repairs have been delayed/ignored. Ice machine not working in tower. Previous reviewers as far as 6 months back had same complaint. Are repairs being ignored? Other problems with room: lack of mirrors - only mirror was in bathroom; slow running bathroom sink drain; no toilet bolt caps; dirty floor; very LOW water pressure; no coffee maker in room yet had coffee cups and pods. Front desk person at check in was not welcoming or friendly. Overall very poor impression of Hadley House. Would not stay there again.

Leider entsprach das "Resort" absolut nicht unseren Erwartungen punkto Sauberkeit und Umgebung. Auf der Homepage erscheint alles neu und gepflegt, das ist aber leider in Wirklichkeit nicht der Fall. Wir konnten eine neue Unterkunft buchen, da das Hotel kulant war und uns den Preis zurückerstattet hat.

We couldn’t open our door when we first got there. We had to call the front desk to come out and change our keys. Everything was good. Nothing exceptional. Would have liked coffee available earlier like 7 am in the lobby. They told us to go to Starbucks. Also had to pay a resort fee when we stayed less than 12 hours. Never had time to use resort.

It was an average room compared to the stays we had in previous hotels, but had 2 queen beds that we wanted after a long journey. Staff was friendly and location was great.

Bad service
We stayed 2 nights. Master bedroom bed was making squeaky noise, because of that we couldn't sleep all night. Complaint about it and they did nothing. Both night were horrible. NOT worth the price. I was told that nothing can be done.
