'I am originally from The Bahamas and spent every Easter as a child in Rock Sound with my grandparents. My wife and I decided to spend Easter this year with my family. The property is full of history, having been part of the Rock Sound Club started by Arthur Vining Davis. Karen has done an absolutely remarkable job renovating this part of the property - everything from the flooring to the landscaping, interior design...it was all so clean and looked new. 'My husband and family rented a large villa a few weeks ago before our stay at Mika’s. The cleanliness and pristine conditions were perfect for my husband and I. The view is unmatched. Location is central and if you call ahead you can walk next door to the deck and grab a burger and fries from Mark the owner. The sounds of the ocean at night are the perfect sound machine. If I could catch all four cottages available next time my whole family will definitely be staying here.'

'What an amazing property, the staff was the best, I can’t recommend this property enough. A 5 minute golf cart ride to the beach to then be taken care of by the beach attendant for the hotel was a pleasant surprise. Lounge chairs, umbrellas, refreshments, towels, music,…. 'My stay at French Leave was amazing, despite the hiccups encountered on property. There were outages that affected several villas and I was moved to another villa, after encountering some problems. There were issues with wifi and cable issues that stemmes from the service providers. These were my only issues as I sometimes like staying inside and relaxing. 'This small and modern property offers squeaky clean, comfortable accommodation right on the water. Boat -watching and peaceful well-tended gardens make for a relaxing stay. The rooms have high ceilings, a large desk, huge tiled shower, a kitchenette and chairs which can be used outside on the covered deck. It is very convenient to have coffee, a drink or a meal steps away at Wrecker’s. The staff there are really great. '

'This well cared for property is a big house divided into several units. If you don’t mind interacting with other travelers/vacationers….and hearing everything they do, “Trela Sands” is a decent home base for exploring Eleuthera. While clean and well-appointed, we found the 1 bedroom front unit claustrophobic and not private. It’s too bad the second floor of the house isn’t the part with more units, think we may have had a different experience on the top floor. Not for a romantic getaway. Good...

'This hotel is part of paradise. What a views on a pink beach, a pristine and very clean swimmingpool and, most important, a very friendly and dedicated staff. I wanted to take a bath but the stop didn’t work, maintenance already left, so she made a creative solution so i could that the bath anyways!!
