It appears nice at first, good condition, nice ocean front, heated pool is nice and warm. Decent restaurant onsite. Unfortunately the staff at the hotel (not the restaurant) is mediocre at best.
Check in was basically typing away on a computer then handing me a sheet that says “all the info is here and on your TV” not welcoming.
The room cleaning is basically emptying garbage cans, completely half effort didn’t even make the beds. They only have 1 working elevator that’s get you to the valet parking area (which is basically required and it’s $32/night) so everyone is fighting for it across 8 floors while the other elevator (as you’ll see in reviews from weeks ago) apparently never works. When you think about during check-in and check out time, the number of people who are fighting for a single elevator, going across eight floors makes the wait times ridiculous to simply get your car. At one point during the day, neither of those two elevators worked so you could only use the one available elevator in the opposite side of the building and walk around or take the stairs.
That said, the room was clean when we initially checked in, the pool is nice, the restaurant staff was nice and the food was good (not amazing) but good and we went there more than once.
The coffee shop staff in the other hand looked absolutely miserable every morning we stopped in..
The location is nice right on the beach, several restaurants are walkable. Short drive to Neptune beach downtown.
