'Husband and I came to the city for the first time. Staying on the jersey side, it was a short walk to the NJ transit. Curtis was very friendly, and personable! And offered a few helpful tips. The apartment came with everything you would need. Very clean, and over all pretty quiet. We would stay here again!'

'This property has a spacious and well maintained backyard. The firepit was surrounded by comfortable patio couches. The interior was spacious for the 6 of us staying here. It was clean and had everything we could possibly need to cook/clean. Location is super close to Manhattan and it was quiet surrounding the house. 'My husband and I came with our kids (11 and 12) We drove into New York 3 of the 6 days we stayed and got to see SOOO MUCH!!! Recommend the one world observatory, metropolitan museum, and empire state building. On our off days we stayed in Jersey saw the statue of Liberty (for free) and explored the town. There was so much to do we NEVER got bored! I would recommend to anyone!'

'This place worked out well with our 2 grandchildren as well as our dog. The off street parking was probably its best asset. The bathroom was newly renovated, however it was advertised as 1.5 baths but there was only 1 bath. We were also told it had a whirlpool tub but it was just a large shower.'

'This was a nice place to stay in Jersey City and was centrally located to many bars/restaurants as well as a 13 minute walk from the Grove Street and Exchange Place lightrails. Host was very responsive to questions. There were a few times when the host wanted to show the apartment to prospective renters while we were staying there, which wasn't a huge deal but was an inconvenience.'

'Bij aankomst bleek er geen sleutel aanwezig te zijn op de afgesproken plaats. Na ongeveer een uur zoeken hebben wij contact gekregen met de verhuurder. Deze heeft ons de code van het cijferslot gegeven waarmee we de woning binnen konden komen. Bij binnenkomst bleek de woning niet heel goed gereinigd te zijn. Tevens was de vaatwasser niet leeggehaald. Tijdens de eerste nacht bleken de gebruikte bedden niet heel goed meer in elkaar te zitten. Het ene bed hing nog met een paar schroeven in elkaar....

Hou er wel rekening mee dat het appartement in Hoboken, New Jersey ligt, wat enige reistijd met zich brengt om Manhattan te bereiken. De prettigste methode is ook meteen de duurste: via de ferry. Retourtje kost $18 per persoon. Je kan ook met de bus, $7 pp, maar die kruipt door de zeer drukke Holland Tunnel.'
