'Our family visited for a long weekend. We have 3 kids and brought 2 dogs and it was just perfect. The trail just out back was an unexpected surprise! We wore the pups out multiple times a day. We also took a fun and unexpected helicopter ride because the house is next to a helicopter tour operation. And being so close to the helicopter tours wasn’t at all off-putting. 'I live in the northern hills and was looking for a good stay-cation for us. Hill City is a great central location for everything you want to see, and the hosts and guests are very personable and friendly. The common area firepit and grills was a nice place to meet the other guests and socialize. Would definitely stay here again!'

'This is a fantastic home in an extremely convenient part of Western South Dakota. While staying here we visited Devils Tower in Wyoming all the way to Rushmore and Custer State Park and the Badlands. All of these were short day trips from our home base in this historic house. 'The home was so beautiful, cozy, decorated so nicley, and clean. They had all the amenities we could need. Even forgot shampoo and they had it available. The kids loved the outdoor playground and beautiful grounds. Everyone loved the private hottub, which was warm and ready to go upon arrival. The ping pong table was a big hit as well. I would recommend this home to anyone and will most definitely be coming back!!'
