Matig hotel
Hotel is gunstig gelegen tov Glacier NP. Alleen 150 euro per nacht is echt teveel voor wat je krijgt. Geen lift, ontbijt echt minimaal, kamer is ok. Douche en toilet in 1 kleine ruimte. Wastafel in slaapkamer. Gelegen direct aan de weg, dus oordopjes mee. Diverse “restaurants” in de nabije omgeving.

This is not a top hotel, but it’s good for a couple of nights. Centrally based, easy to restaurants and shops and easy to park. The gem of this place is the staff. They were all courteous, helpful and always available.

The shower was freezing cold, the tap didn't even turn to the hot setting which was odd The hair dryer didn't turn on - the room could have been a bit cleaner: overall fine stay for one night though. Just not long term.

Very rundown property. I believe they are updating, but our room was extremely beat up, dingy, or falling apart. The doorway to the room was very damaged and didn’t feel that safe. I wouldn’t recommend/stay again until updates have been done.

Thank you for the feedback, I regret that you were not able to get one of our freshly remodeled rooms, due to the high volume of travelers we had to rent out rooms that had not been totally renovated yet. If your ever in the area again I hope you give us another try so we can improve on your experience.

The property has Wifi service but the room where we stayed did not have access to the wifi because it was the room at the very end . We complained when we check out to see if there was a discount but so far we have not received any email from the property.

Terrible! First, when I checked in, they didn't have my 2nd night. Was told that they may have a handicap room available for the next night, but they didn't know how dirty it was and if would be clean in time. Second, no elevator. I have a knee injury that prevents me to be able use stairs. They did switch me to a first floor room, but told me that it may be dirty and still needed to be cleaned. Despite that it was 3:45, check in starts at 3 and check out is at 11. Tried to get a refund because of issues. Manager said room was clean. Decided to stay since there is limited availability in the area to go to a different hotel. Got to the room and it was rundown. Blackout curtains had holes in them. Night table is wobbly and dinged up. Sink had chips and also dinged up. Heating/cooling buttons were cracked. The bed was lumpy - hard on parts and soft in others. Smoke detector was hanging and didn't appear to be working. Had to leave earlier than checkout to find other accommodations for my second night.

I apologize for the discrepancy, due to the high volume and lack of hotels available we, as well as many other hotels, faced overbooking situations, I regret that you were affected by that. We did have to put rooms that are awaiting remodel onto the market so that overbooked guests could at least have a room. I sincerely wish you would have had the chance to have new remodeled room. As for the elevator we do state there is no elevator on our booking sites reservation pages. I hope you consider us again in the future so we can improve your experience. Best wishes top you.

The property on the outside does look rundown, however dont let that sway you. Its very obvious theyre renovating an older property. The rooms were clean and spacious, and we never felt unsafe. Staff was very nice as well. Its a very good stay for the price.

At check-in, the owner and cleaning staff were in a counseling session on how to clean rooms at the front desk. My wife and I were trying to enjoy a quiet evening before her surgeon, but the room next door was being remodeled until around 8:10 pm with lots of banging and shaking of wals. I talked to the front desk to see if this was normal for them to work this late and she said yes and I asked how much longer and she got very snotty with me saying there was nothing she could do but go interrupt him again and Ihad already done that. The hallwaysmelledlike old hotel not fresh at all. The room was nice enough but that was the silver lining. Deffinatelythe human element was the worst part of the stay. Not recommended even for $53........................

As we pulled in and started to unpack to check in. A lady came out and asked to borrow a lighter. Later on my husband went to a vending machine and a guy asked if he could buy drugs from him and he would even pay double. The giy at the front sldesk who was checking us in seemed to be super high. We would have checked out and stayed somewhere else but it was the closest hotel to the childrens hospital. Will never stay there again. I didnt feel safe with my 18m old being there.

I rented a room while my mom is in the hospital. Upon my sons entry to the room the room was filthy soda, cans, garbage, and a T-shirt in the garbage can no towels, no bedding the carpet was filthy no trashcan liner, and Floaties in the toilet. The hotel clerk was so high he couldn’t function. He didn’t know how to work the card reader. he called his boss to talk to him about my son‘s complaint. It was all phony. The phone rang while he was talking to his boss. The hotel clerk wouldn’t even go look in the room to see how bad it was. That filthy of room there was no way we were going to take another room in that place. I’m enclosing photos, I highly do not recommend this place probably full of bedbugs

Don't stay here. I paid for our room through Expedia and this hotel also charged me and I've called several times to try to get my money back and all I get is, "I need to talk to the manager". The woman behind the desk didn't know what she was doing and admitted she was new and assured me I wasn't getting charged. The next morning when we checked out, I wanted a receipt and they couldn't give me one because the computer wasn't working. The hotel is old and very dated.

The room numbers are not in order on the second floor and the signs for the vending machines aren't right. There was no one at the front desk so I rang the bell and a child coming through the lobby asked if I'd been helped, then he went and found the person working.

The staff was good. The carpets are filthy and have holes in them. My room had no furniture except the bed and a bed table. My room was not touched though I stayed for 3 days. Walls were dirty and patched. I hope they are getting ready to remodel.

Older but clean
The place was easy to find. Looks a little worn on the outside. Inside is older, and worn as well, but very clean. There are quite a few stairs to go to the 2nd floor, maybe tough for older folks. Our room was very small but comfortable. Things were very clean but older, lots of squeaks in the bathroom sliding door. The bed wasn’t attached to anything, went to sit in it and it gave way, almost fell to the floor. Staff were friendly, but seemed a little stressed as we checked in. When we checked out they were busy cleaning the eating area to bother coming to meet us at the counter. I might stay there again if it’s a bit lower price.

Property was clean, staff was friendly and attentive. Had a package shipped to the hotel which did not arrive in time - hotel manager said he will forward the package onto me at no cost - that's great service in my mind. Only negative would be the guy fixing his truck and motorcycle on the property.

9/27/23 room 125. Should’ve ran the other way. Motel smelled awful.The front desk person couldn’t focus, he was assisting another worker who was clueless. Along the way to our room the floor had food crumbs, huge stains on the carpets, nothing vacuumed, dirty finger prints all over, doors filthy, etc. Our room door handle was sticky, stains on chairs, stains on carpets, smelled terrible, layers upon layers of dust, something had spilled on the table and it was left there. It was an ugly dark brown color but tan in some spots. They painted around items that used to be hanging. 1 head board was at an angle, it was broken & propped there. The pillows had stains. The sheets on one bed had all sorts of stains and hair!!! The tub had mold, toilet seat moves all over, toilet had “stuff” on it. The coffee cups and coffee pot was covered in a layered in dust. There were styrofoam cups not covered in plastic just sitting, no clue if they were used or new. The sink had hair on it & dried toothpaste. Curtains falling off in spots. You hear everything coming from the other rooms. We luckily had our own blanket to lay down and lay on. We covered our pillows with a shirt. Next morning I was COVERED IN A RASH! Everyone should be getting refunded for staying here. I wrote a note a good deep clean & new housekeepers. TAKE PRIDE IN WHAT YOU OWN OR SHUT IT DOWN! Is motel is absolutely the dirtiest place I ever seen. DO NOT STAY HERE! Hopefully the owner will see this and start issuing refunds!!

So many issues - first floor rooms up several steps; bathroom floor dirty, hair unswept; smoke detector disconnected; heat/ac unit in need of repair; sliding door to toilet/tub off the track, no privacy; glass on exterior doors not cleaned forever; no secure wi/fi connection; one of two "keys" to room didn't work. Bed comfortable, breakfast okay.

PARKING VERY LIMITED AND VERY CRAMPED FOR ANYTHING OTHER THAN A COMPACT CAR. WE HAVE A TRUCK. FLOOR VERY DIRTY; GARBAGE IN ONE ON DRESSER DRAWERS; LESS THAT HALF A ROLL OF TIOLET PAPER AND NO EXTRA; EMPTY BOX WHERE TISSUES GO; SOAP AND SHAMPOO DISPENSERS ALMOST EMPTY; ROOM LOOKED LIKED WAS A SPARE THAT THEY HAD TO SET UP QUICKLY MAYBE CAUSE FULL?; HOLES IN WALLS FOR POSSIBLE HANGINGS BUT NO PICTURES; PAINT ON WALLS AROUND FURNITURE WHERE YOU COULD CLEARLY SEE OLD PAINT LINES; FLOOR TRIM DID NOT EVEN COVER THE BOTTOM EDGE OF WALL JUST SEE UNFINISHED WALL.
