Very clean budget hotel.
Really, this hotel is very well kept, clean and with pretty bright rooms. The two biggest issues were:1. that we are surprisingly sensitive to poor beds. Every morning we woke in more achy than when we went to sleep. If you are not bothered by thin mattresses you'll be fine. 2. The internet is very very spotty and only available in the lobby. Not an issue if you have already planned on not interacting with anyone via e-mail, but if you have a few obligations... The restaurant is fairly average. No glaring issues, but nothing great. That becomes more palatable when you consider just how long a drive this place is from the nearest outside restaurant. Really remarkably far given how close it is on the map!

The worst hotel in Sri Lanka
This hotel was a nightmare with a poor quality of service. Rooms are dirty, old fashioned. The side beds were made with pieces of wood on which a mattress was put on. Really, avoid this hotel and do not trust the positive opinion.

This hotel is up a very bumpy 3 km road, but many are. There is nothing in the area of the hotel. Transport is needed to get to it and there are no eating places apart from Dambula. Quiet location and nice pool. Short walks and a bird spotting tour is available.

Big rooms with a nice view
Really helpful staff, big rooms with a great view. Family friendly. Hotel is off the main road, very quiet and peaceful.
