Lotta dust in the desk area. But the biggest problem was the all I could get out of the shower with hot water so it was extremely painful to take a shower. After the first night I told the front desk about it and they told me that I should use the control on the bottom. The following morning I tried the control and it still did not work.

It was very pretty inside and the room was really nice. But there was suppose to be a spa and it was permanently closed which was not mentioned. It was said that there was a breakfast buffet and we asked a hotel desk lady and she even said there was one and gave us a time frame and there wasn't one. We chose to stay here for the amenities but there was no amenities so it was very disappointing.

Smoking casino....entire side smells like it even in non-smoking areas. Main issues--room dirty in bathroom (hairs), fridge (slime on bottom clearly not wiped out), floor not vacuumed, and the phone had 1/4 inch of crud all around phone and buttons when I picked up to call desk about other issues. I literally dropped it and decided to walk down. Spoke to morning manager on Saturday..she said housekeeping would clean right away and took information. We came back 8 hours later and walked into the same room untouched. Went and spoke to another front desk manager who said something must have gotten missed and they'd send someone, but then offered us another floor. We took it and moved. She gave us a $25 food credit and her direct number in case of concern. Room was acceptable.

Every year my company has a party at the adjoining Argosy casino, and I get a room at this hotel so I can drink alcohol and not have to drive home. Every year my company spends a lot of money at this facility. This year, as with every year, our HR department books a block of rooms at a reduced rate of $149.00 but the rate code did not work online. I called the hotel and was on hold for a long time only to be told they “had no idea what I was talking about” when I gave the person on the phone our rate code. As a manager, I feel I should attend the party, so I decided to book the room on Expedia at a much higher rate of $289.17. I used $53.09 of Expedia OneKey Cash. When I got to the hotel, they charged me $60.00 for incidentals and a $12.00 resort fee. Now I am into what was supposed to be a $149.00 room for $361.17. When I got to my room at 5:30 PM it was very hot in the room. I turned down the thermostat to 65° to cool the room off. At 10:00 PM after I the party I returned to the room. The HVAC was not working, and the room was the same as when I checked in – still too hot to sleep in. I went to the front desk, and they told me they could send maintenance to look at it "in a few hours". I told the hotel I wanted another room, but they said they were fully booked and that wasn't possible. I then told the hotel I was going to check out and drive back home to which they responded, "OK but you are not going to get a refund". I will never stay at this hotel again.

First, we started out our stay with a very rude receptionist, charging us three times for our room for one night. And then I went to management about it and they told me that it would come off in 2 to 3 weeks. Which is insane to me. Then we go to a restaurant and spend $150 for two people and the food instantly makes my husband sick. The casino was the only good part. I would not stay here, and I would not eat here.
