'The home is beautiful, on a quiet street in a great neighborhood. The beds are comfortable, and the living room has several areas for conversation and watching television. We ventured into Kansas City (only a few minutes away) and were impressed with the ease of getting around with this home as our base. We were visiting our daughter and her Kansas family, and had them over for Christmas dinner (arranged ahead of time). They all raved about how nice the house is, and how beautifully it is set...

'We stayed here for the weekend and to catch a Royals baseball game (about 20 minutes away from the stadium). Hotel is older, but under renovation to update it, so they were down to one elevator, which at times made it slow getting to and from the room. I booked a King room and they tried putting us in a room with 2 Queen beds. Even though they were pretty full, we were able to sort this out pretty quickly. 'I have stayed here many times. It has a nice location near KU med center. It has shopping center and restaurants nearby. It has easy access to the interstate.It's actually located in a somewhat quiet area. It has been showing signs of age though lately.'

'The front desk staff in the evening were beyond friendly. Very down to earth and personable. we were in town for the birth of our granddaughter, and they even asked to see pictures when we arrived the next evening after she was born. The elevator did break down and we were on the 3rd floor, but it was fixed quickly. We were satisfied with breakfast. Rooms are a little small but served our purpose for our 2 night stay.
