the front desk and valet parking employees were EXCELLENT. However the employees who help prepare breakfast were not friendly at all, I would say down right rude. I ask a couple of questions about condiments and drinks, neither lady answered, but just pointed for me in another direction. A smile can go a long way with a guess

We traveled to Kansas City for the NCAA Wrestling Championships. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, and it was close enough that we could walk. Enjoyed our stay!

Comfortable and clean room with all the essentials. Nice breakfast and the pool/gym is a plus. I liked the location, walkable to the convention center and lots of restaurants to choose from in the area.

Wonderful hotel! Stayed here with 3 other guests for AWP conference and was blown away by most of the experience. The studio was quite spacious and cleaned nicely upon our arrival. Although, some staff interaction at the Bistro Bar could have been better (kind of snubbed me when asking about a food items), but generally very friendly employees. Definitely would come back, just maybe not go to the bar :)

The hotel staff were very nice and easy to deal with. The room was spacious and comfortable. My only complaints 1. Luke warm showers, if that. And it took 15 plus minutes to even get that warm. I don’t expect a lot from hotels honestly but a hot shower is something I don’t like to compromise on. 2. There were zero towels at the pool, so I went to the front desk to ask for some. They said they would have someone bring them, 30-45 min later they still hadn’t. So I ran upstairs to get our room towels. Then when we left the pool I went to request more room towels, never came. So I had to request them again the next morning, luckily they were fairly quick that time. Overall, it wasn’t a terrible experience and I would try it again. But if I get a similar experience a second time I probably wouldn’t be back

Great location and a really nice room. We were in town for family and shopping. The only issue was I was charged for valet, but never once used it. The employee at checkout resolved the issue. I'd stay here again and again.

Check in and check out were fast. We didnt have hot water most of the time during our 2 night stay. Traffic was noisy in the corner suite. There was a loud sound like water hitting a metal pan coming from the wall/ceiling all hours of the night. The pull out sofa mattress was shot and in horrible condition.

The property and amenities are absolutely beautiful! Guests at the Residence Inn have morning access to a wonderful breakfast area/lounge/chill area that was unbelievable! The food was really good too! The only negative was too soft pillows in our beautiful room! We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in KC!

Clean hotel, great location. They were only valeting cars when we arrived, which is strange since they have a garage. That was not apparent when we reserved. There are several surface lots nearby. Housekeeping and front desk were extremely slow to requests for fresh towels, toilet paper and Kleenex. If you’re there for a short time with no car to manage, it’s probably a good experience overall. We were there for a week for family events and it became pretty annoying for a family of four.

For such a nice place, there was NO hot water in the morning, which sucked. No real apology from the staff, just it is what it is. No compensation, no anything. the "breakfast" if you could call it that really wasn't much to speak about. The room was nice, spacious, and clean. But all that doesn't really matter if I can't get a shower.

Great location, overall a great stay. Only negatives were the room never really gets fully dark, curtains are definitely not completely blackout. And the neighboring doors slam really loud and can be heard in your room. Beyond that, beds were comfortable, rooms were clean and staff were nice. We would stay here again.

I was pretty satisfied until the valet let me rental car get stolen around 2:05 a.m. as I was trying to get to the airport. It has been more than 11 hours and no one from the hotel has contacted be yet about my stolen rental car.
