Kauai islander, 2nd stay, different condo, this is oceanfront
We checked in, no issues ar all. The TV was a challenge, however, the ussue was easily resolved by Judeson from maintenance. The condo was clean and orderly. We found enough towels were provided, enjoyed the mid stay housekeeping attention. We are hoping to return for another one month stay annually.

Excellent Location & Accommodations
This was our second time staying at Islander on the Beach. The location is amazing, the grounds are beautiful and the price was reasonable. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The unit’s ground level location right next to the pool and steps away from the beach make for a very pleasant stay!

This is such a gem of a property. Ocean front with a lovely patio to have your morning coffee. The pool is right beside this room so it’s very convenient, and not loud. Pool bar has a great happy hour, and BBQ’s to cook on. Definitely would book again if we return to Kauai.

Great location, on the ocean, ground floor very useful. Safe didn't work in the unit but very safe. Stores and food are right behind here. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Places to visit are sometimes hidden but GPS is essential. Txs for a lovely stay.

Convenient location....
Property was "as advertised" and very convenient for a short 2 night stay. There is a good market and several restaurants within a 2 minute walk of the property. The pool, tiki bar and BBQ's were very convenient as well.

Would definitely rent again. Location is perfect to Coconut MarketPlace, centrally located and unit had everything we needed. The only down side is we weren’t allowed to use laundry room on site as this is only allowed for resort guest and since this unit is privately owned the resort didn’t allow us to use.

We loved this condo! Great view on ground floor. Great bed and pillows. Nicely decorated. Had all kitchen utensils. The resort was beautiful. Grass and flowers well maintained. Only issue for us was the steep sand walk to the beach, but there were level areas to put the lounge chairs on so you get the wave action experience! Very well located for shopping and dining. Hope to return for a longer visit!.

Perfect spot on ground level, next to pool and awesome ocean views. Room was clean and adequately stocked with necessities. Negatives: screen door didn't lock; no freezer in refrigerator; no instructions to operate TV (needed to hit a sequence of four different buttons); maintenance guy was wonderful! Please update the information sheet. I will return!

Property was perfect for my wife & I. Accommodations were very clean & well decorated. The 1st floor oceanfront unit was near the pool with a great view. Communications from the owner were very timely & made accessing the unit very easy. Very enjoyable experience! I would highly recommend this unit & would definitely consider booking again for our next visit to Kauai.

Perfect Oceanside Condo
Best place we stayed while in Hawaii. Well equipped condo, very comfortable bed, and quiet. No issues whatsoever! Picked up our parking pass in the lobby, for which Jeff had completed the paperwork, and we were set for the duration of our stay. Thanks again Jeff for the wonder accommodation!!

The place was nice, I just wish it had some beach supplies available like a boogie board. People don't want to have to bring those or buy for just a few days. Also, an ice bucket and cutting board would be useful. I'd also recommend that you have thinner beach towels that dry faster and are easier to carry to the beach or pool.

Great Condo Clean and close to everything
My husband and I spent a few days at the Islander and have to say it exceeded my expectations. The condo was clean and loved the fact we were on the main floor. Just steps to the beach and the pool. An abundance of restaurants within walking distance, one that you sit right on the beach. Jeff was very responsive when I had questions and would recommend this condo to anyone that is looking to stay in Kauai. The beach itself would not really be suitable for children do to the currents but we loved the waves :) Centrally located to activities.

The grounds were nice and centrally located.
We arrived and the unit was clean, but smelled a bit damp. We did not have sheets for the rollout bed, but contacted the unit maintenance and they were very quick to respond, very nice and helpful. The towels and linens did not seem fresh. They looked clean but musty. There were only 2 beach towels, one was a large bath towel, so not enough for our family of 4 to take to the beach or pool. The laundry on site was not for vrbo renters but the laundromat in town was very clean. Overall rating is due to the unit being less than we expected.

We had such a wonderful time!!! We loved walking out of sliding doors and just being steps away from the beach. Beautiful sunrise views. local market within walking distance. The condo was large and comfortable. The owner was very helpful with a mistake that we made with check-in code. We will defiantly stay at this unit again!!

Fantastic location :)
My partner and I had a great stay @ Islander at the Beach in Kapaa. The room had everything we needed, and we loved being so close to the beach, BBQ, pool and hot tub. And Kapaa is a perfect central location on Kauai. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this room, and we hope to return one day!

Clean, comfortable and wellkept. Great location about equidistant to North side and West side. Convenient to pool. No freezer in the fridge, but ice available a 20 second walk away. Parking fine during the day, but difficult after 8pm.

Very basic: you get what you pay for...
The unit had a lot of faults and we could not wait to get out of there but unfortunately we were booked in for 5 nights. The bathroom was extremely damp and nothing dried despite having the fan on all the time. The whole room smelled damp. There is no laundry on-site and since this unit is owner owned you do not get housekeeping or replacement of towels. Speaking of towels, only one "beach" towel is given and the other one is a regular shower towel. We almost ran out of toilet paper and there were no tissues. You do not have access to anything at the hotel. The iron barely worked and sprayed water every time you used it, which resulted in several shirts being soaked, which created a problem since nothing dries in your room and there is no laundry... Check out time is fairly early at 10:30am, which I do not believe that was stated on the listing. You are required to take out all your garbage, recycling, clean the fridge and put all dirty linens in the bathtub. The garbage area (in the common areas) is not well taken care of as we saw the same garbage outside for 2 days. Pros: nice ocean view, pool bar, free parking, close to coffee shops. I would never stay here again.

Krys. Sorry to hear you were so disappointed in the unit. Let me recap you did have access to everything . and by the way its not a hotel . The unites are studio Condos . And all of this is in the description of the unit.. There is a information pamphlet on the table with contact phone numbers for you to contact , I would have hoped that if you were that unhappy after the first day you would have contacted us. no one ever got a call form you, Mahalo

Fantastic!!
I really enjoyed my stay at the condo. It was a relaxing trip for me. Very convenient as the beach, pool/spa, and bar are on the spot! Restaurants, bars, and shops are close by.
