'Enjoyed the delicious food, the room, the friendly staff and the excursions (batik workshop and visit to Elmina Castle). The pool, restaurant and rooms are in close proximity. Plenty of space in the restaurant with a nice view of the ocean. We’re vegetarian; had plenty to eat - delicious selections plus the best tasting pineapples and red red. The beach is a short walk. Very relaxing place to visit. '

'I have been staying at Coconut Grove Beach Resort Elmina since 1995, when it was brand new. Since then few major changes or renovations have been made. This makes that the hotel is a little bit tired now. However, small upgrades in the last year or so keep accommodation / rooms at an acceptable level and the price level is ok for a beach resort. 'First glanced driving up looks beautiful but once in basic , nothing to shout about. It’s noisy from our room we kept hearing prayer calls from the distance no curtains so you get light in all night.
