'The cottage was exactly as described. It was very clean and open. Beach is literally steps away. We opted to bring an air mattress for our teen and one slept on the pull out sofa, comfortable enough for a few nights. I think the pricing was fair but a larger bed in bedroom with a TV would be ideal. It would be lovely to come back when weather is warmer.'

'This is a hidden gem! Only 5 minutes from town, but the location is so quiet and peaceful. The apartment is fantastic, with everything you need. Mike, the owner, is very hospitable and kind. He also is a wealth of knowledge about the history of Cumberland Island. Loved staying here and will stay again. You will not be disappointed with your stay.'

'The unit is perfect. Great view with no close neighbor. All the amenities. New washer and dryer. Bedrooms are close in proximity but quiet from each other. Very clean! Covered balcony with plenty of room to watch sunrise. Easy communication with host. Beds are comfortable. Unit had beach towels, chairs, beach toys! Great kitchen with everything and then some. Good coffee station. We all really loved the unit. I will rent this unit again in future.'

'We enjoyed our stay at this condo. Very comfortable and thoughtful touches throughout, like a welcome snack basket. Kitchen had all the staples and plenty of cookware. Communication and instructions were excellent. The pool was well maintained, large with ample seating. FYI 2 blocks from the beach and condo has 3 flights of stairs. 'We loved the accommodation, our only complaint was a distinct smell of someone having smoked in the room. We are ex smokers so I told management we were OK with it, but wanted to make them aware we weren’t the culprits, and not to charge us the $250 fine for smoking, but now I’m home I realize our clothes smell of smoke. Other than that minor problem it was a perfect little getaway place'
