Mooi hotel, gunstig gelegen in centrum van Konya
Erg aangenaam verblijf gehad in het Hilton Hotel in Konya. Erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel, met name Hidayet! Het was erg leuk af en toe Nederlands te kunnen praten en zijn behulpzaamheid en vriendelijkheid waren een extra pluspunt. Het hotel ligt gunstig gelegen op ca. 10 minuutjes lopen naar het Mevlana Museum en ca. een half uurtje naar Alaaddin Tepesi / Alaaddin Blv. Het hotel ligt recht naast het Mevlana Kültür Merkezi waar de derwisjen hun ceremonie houden. Mijn hotelkamer was ruim, uitgebreid ingericht met o.a. een koelkast en een koele airco, wat erg prettig was aangezien het buiten erg warm was, en had uitzicht op het Mevlana Museum. Lekker uitgebreid ontbijt met volop keus. Ik kom hier zeker nog eens terug.

Internationaal hotel in een conservatieve en religieuze stad met gratis parkeren in de ondergrondse garage. Hotel staat op loopafstand van een aantal bezienswaardigheden zoals bijzondere moskeen, alaadin heuvel en stadspark met zwarte zwanen. Hotel is helemaal top en extra beveiligd, alleen geen zwembad. Als toerist wel op de gebaande paden blijven en gepast kleden anders wordt je nagekeken. Konya is een stad in verandering, maar heeft nog veel sloppenwijken waar je beter niet kan komen. Er is een trambaan vlakbij aangelegd en daar wordt nu op proefgereden maar er zijn ook vele bussen in alle richtingen. Antalya is goed bereikbaar met de auto over een goede autoweg door het prachtige taurusgebergte. In het zuidoosten (35 km) is een prachtige opgaving van de op 1 na oudste stad die tot nu toe is gevonden.

Hilton ismine aldanmış oldum. Kahvaltısı vasat altı. Omlet, patates kızartması, sucuk gibi sıcak kahvaltılık çeşitleri yok. Klasik kafe kahvaltısı ayarında. Sadece bir çeşit börek vardı. O da lezzetli değildi. Diğer ürünler de çok taze görünmüyordu. Tavsiye etmiyorum.

Bana göre kalınmaz
Hilton olarak tercih ettik odalardaki iklimlendirme sadece sıcak olarak çalışıyormuş ve oda ısısını düşürmek için camı açmamızı çözüm olarak sundular. Hilton gibi bir marka otelde böyle bir deneyim anlatılamaz yaşanır. Bir daha asla Konya Hilton Garden Inn de kalınmaz. Ayrıca oda temizliği çok itinalı değil yedek yastık yok vs vs kötü bir deneyim sadece.
