'We enjoyed access to the beach, and when we had questions we got answers almost immediately. The kitchen is upstairs which you can’t tell from the photos, and the bed in the upstairs bedroom (off the kitchen) was so hard & uncomfortable we ended up moving downstairs. The other 2 bedrooms are downstairs. We stocked k cups for the next guests but I’m thinking it was closed for the winter- there is a keurig and a coffee pot but also a nice Safeway less than a mile away for whatever you might want.'

'House was awesome plenty of room we had 10 people of which we had 3 couples. Only issue is we wanted to have 2 additional people stay which we had room for we had 2 empty bedrooms and they were not permitted to stay as they said the house only had a permit for 10 which was a bummer as they had to stay at a hotel.'

'Overall we really enjoyed our stay however there was a few cons I wanted to list out in hopes the owner will take these into consideration in the future. Cons: the curb appeal of this property could definitley use some upgrades. Pulling up to the house threw us off a little and we instantly started to stress about what the inside would look like. 'Although there was not enough snow to really ski heavenly, my family had a blast staying in this condo at this location in South Shore. Very close to a lot of action, casinos, restaurants, but best of all, it’s only 50 yards to the blue waters of Tahoe. The highlight was watching my son run down the pier and do a flip into freezing Lake Tahoe.'

'The house was clean and comfortable. Huge and great backyard. Smart TV's in each bedrooma and living room and really easy to use. It is fully fenced for dogs however a couple of places are not very secure, we did not have any problems with our dogs, however a dog could easily get thru if they wanted to escape. Over all we had a lovely time and I would recomend the house.'

'Had a blast at the property - nice and clean as advertised. Beds were very comfy, bar area was perfect, hot tub was excellent (and fits 8). Grill worked well! Kitchen was incredibly stocked. There is also an area for throwing axes (axes not provided which makes sense to me, just buy your own beforehand) Only thing to note was that we couldn’t find any grilling utensils, so be sure to bring your own long and metal tongs etc.'

'We stayed here as a chance to be in the snow and not at the prices of Tahoe. It was a great choice. The house was beautiful and perfect size for the 4 of us (2 adults, 7 and a 3 year old). The back yard was great for the kids to play in the snow, and there was lots of space inside to feel comfortable. We would love to stay here again.'

'We felt check-in/chek-out process is a bit time consuming as we have to get parking/recreation passes from club house and while checkouts there are some action items like washing towels and removing bed linens etc.. they may cause delay if someone have tight reservations around. Apart from that we have no complains with house and location and we really enjoyed the stay its very peacful and amazing place. Thank you!!'

'We loved staying here. The pool was very nice and so was the private beach! The only reason I rated 4 out of 5 stars is because we stayed in the very first building so it was a longer walk to the beach and pool than we anticipated. Overall, I would stay here again! '

Good location, terrible bed, crazy high resort fee
"I visited South Lake Tahoe in the busiest part of the year: July The hotel was fully booked. The staff, though friendly, were extremely busy and didn't have time to give the guest attention. The resort fee for 3 days of over a 100 dollars (!) was just crazy. It's just extra money per night as if the base rate wasn't high enough for a renovated motel. A resort fee for what exactly? for use of the tiny pool? The absence of a gym? Parking motel style? The worst part of the stay was the mattress. It was absolutely horrible, I was sleeping in a hole the whole time. Probably a 30 year old mattress they didn't update alongside the renovation. Don't pick room 630 for the massive 300 dollars a night. I was dreading the nights of sleeping there. There was no way of changing rooms as it was fully booked. Coachman, please do better and place a new mattress there for new guests, they deserve it for the massive rate you're asking them to pay. You know you have the funds to do it"
