It’s just not that nice. For the price we paid I kinda thought it would be a bit nicer. But the rooms are small, the walls are thin, and the whole building is inaccessible due to no elevator. Breakfast was poor quality. Friendly enough staff. I wouldn’t go again ever and I’ll avoid this brand

Horrendous. Avoid at all costs. Homeless people camping and using the restroom outside, looking into cars, etc. inside, the rooms smell of mold and musk. Our carpet was soaking wet. The rooms haven’t been cleaned in god knows how long. Windows covered in dust, bathroom grout is caked in dirt & black. We ended up leaving early because it was too much of a risk. The staff was very kind and switched our room when we expressed concern, they were very kind to us. However the hotel needs a Chernobyl level cleaning in order to be considered decent. There are also no elevators so if you have heavy bags you’re going to have to haul it up or downstairs into the basement level first floor. Manager was lurking the halls randomly and stopped me when I had my dogs fully leashed and contained, advising me there was a pet deposit and fee. I had already paid this at the desk and upfront, very odd for her to confront me infront of other guests. If you have pets, there are 0 areas immediately around to take them out, unless you’re okay with going into the bushes with the homeless. Honestly, I have never complained about a hotel room or written a review. I travel atleast 3 times monthly for work and I have never encountered a place as hell-like as this.

If you use a third party website to book not all third party websites say they dont allow cats. So after 5 nights of being there they decided to kick us out because apparently cats smell worse then dogs lol.

We checked in and decided to go check out our room. As soon as we walked in it smelled horrible like cigarettes. It was a very strong odor coming from hallways and the room itself smelled awful. We went back later and there was very strange activity going on from people staying in the rooms around us and we felt unsafe so we packed up and left. We were very disappointed and had to last minute find somewhere else to stay. Do not recommend .

I've stayed at over 15 hotels in the last year while moving. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst. There was "supposed" hair dye on the carpet (everywhere), as I went to get into the bath id paid extra money towards so that my child enjoyed herself there was a line of cracked dirt around the entire thing, the floor had not been vacuumed nor did the television work at all. Staff came up to fix the TV for the next thirty minutes but couldn't find anything but the entire unit needed to be replaced and wanted me to go to another room. I refused. I drove 8 hours to get to this property for a friend's funeral while going through chemotherapy and on top of that have a disabled child. No offer of moving my belongings while using a cane nothing. I went outside to get the rest of our belongings and had five rats scatter from the door. The Lacey PD rolled through asking if everything was ok also. When I had my four other bags, I was locked out because my key wouldn't work. When I walked to the front door, mind you disabled at the time, I was met with a homeless gal getting coffee who starred at me making noise. The front staff, who now was within a shift change was irritated and literally asked me what I wanted her to do about the situation. This is outlandish. Not only is trained staff needed with direction, a valid review of a drug, rat invested hotel would be necessary. This hotel even charged me for staying one night without working facilities and no sleep from the conditions

Greetings Carrie, We at Quality Inn Lacey apologize for your less than satisfactory experience. Feedback from guests is taken very seriously and we want to do whatever we can to make your stay more accommodating. We would like to point out, however, that the hotel staff were not given an opportunity to remedy these situations, despite us asking. You declined a simple fix for the TV in your room(a new HDMI cord), as well as potentialy moving rooms. If you had asked, the front desk associate would have been happy to help you move your luggage. Also, the second front desk associate you interacted with was simply trying to ask you how you would like to remedy the situation, who you then yelled at and stormed off.P.S. That "homeless lady" you refer to was a guest and a very lovely individual.

It was after midnight and someone tried to break into my room. Had to put my weight against the door to keep them from coming in. I yelled for them to leave and when I thought they were gone I called front desk. They were able to see the person on camera. I was by myself so it scared the hell out of me.
