'Our family had a great time at Relax House - the neighborhood is very quiet and an easy 15-minute drive into town. Our host communicated with us in advance to prepare the best sleeping arrangements for our kids and gave thorough instruction via WhatsApp on property access and amenities, though I wish we hadn’t arrived after dark, as it made it a bit trickier to find the home (but that’s on us). 'We wished we had stayed longer. This is a wonderful property, well maintained and the owners are close by. The back yard is beautifully landscaped and offers a full view of the volcano covered deck area and a small pool to cool off in. Beds are comfortable and the house offers everything you could need. La Fortuna is a hidden gem. I have been to CR over 40 times and never made it here. Great restaurants and activities and a wonderful place to relax when the day is over. Highly recomended.'

'The Ranch Villa Arenal is a gorgeous house and property. We felt at home and fell in love with Yadi the house keeper/cook and Joaquin the grounds keeper. Yadi cooked a delicious breakfast every day and Joaquin entertained us with tours of the working ranch. The Fortuna area offers many activities for all age groups. 'We had a little confusion in the beginning with the Waze app . Such quick response time !! The property is lovely. Highly recommend ! Pool lights hot tub beds perfect for a family trip !! 'Prima locatie bij aankomst of vertrek Costa Rica. Shuttle bus brengt je van of naar het vliegveld. Naast het hotel zit een grote Walmark en op een kwartier loopafstand het grootste winkelcentrum van Costa Rica. Wij hadden via Europcar een auto gehuurd en het verhuurbedrijf zit naast het hotel. Hotel is enigszins gedateerd maar ziet er keurig uit. Bedden waren wel doorgezakt. Zwembad klein en koud. '
