'We had a great stay at the property. It was clean however some of the amenties like the ironing board and iron were old and broken. It would also be helpful if the property indicated where the washer and dryer were. Since there was a separate rental in the back, we didn't want to intrude. Also you can hear the traffic but we were able to sleep without issues.'

'We have stayed at this cabin a few times and never disappoints. There is no tv...but there is also no close neighbors, no noise except for the river flowing, no property problems and no rules that can make your rental a stressful nightmare. This is the place to regenerate...rest, read, listen to the birds and the river. The owners are the best you can ask for in a rental. They never bother you and are there if you have any questions....It is PERFECT..'

'Location is in the country. Very quiet, beds are comfortable. Bathroom and kitchen very spacious. Would have loved to stay here for a longer visit. Was down for a wedding so really didn’t have much time in the location to do the cooking like normal. But was set up for the ability to cook for a group or from scratch. Plenty for kids and adults to stay busy and entertained.'

'The getaway cottage was exactly as advertised. It was the perfect size for the two of us, and had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. It was a short walk to the dock. Mike met us at the property for a quick tour, then left us to enjoy their beautiful property. We plan on making a trip back sometime next year.'

'The view is beautiful! We really enjoyed sitting on the upper and lower decks that over-looked the river. The dock was very nice… we tried to fish but did not catch anything. The children loved the rope swing and the fruiting orange tree in the back. We also had an Easter egg hunt in the back yard (which is large). There is a fire pit as well. The house is two stories but you have to use outside stairs to get up/down. This did not bother us, however if you have smaller children it might. It is...

'Clean, nicely appointed house with nice amenities. All the little extras you did not think or forgot to bring. A small charcoal grill, wood for fire pit, even fishing poles for the pond! The massage chair and retro style video game arcade are nice touches. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our host was responsive to questions and attended to every detail. Would definitely stay here again!'

'This home was just as listed. Plenty of space and things to do. Unfortunately the river flooded days before we arrived but it did not stop us from enjoying the property. We couldn’t kayak but that was not a deal breaker. The host was very transparent and accommodating. I look forward to visiting again so that I can experience the river more!'
