'Cannot beat this location. The private beach was just incredible. We came with two dogs who enjoyed going for a swim each morning. The kids loved hanging out on the beach all day. The hosts were responsive and thoughtful. When we arrived the first night the lights were on and music was gently playing. Thoughtful touches that were very much appreciated. We could not have hoped for a better experience.'

We went to Williamsburg, short 45 minute drive through beautiful country. The property is exceptional! The host has thought of literally everything and well appointed. 'Gorgeous location on the Great Wicomico!! Beautiful home with both a rustic feel and lovely modern additions. We brought our boat and the cove on Cole’s Creek was well protected with deep water. Property grounds were so nice, lots of space, and gorgeous view! The owner was super supportive and very helpful with recommendations in the area. Highly recommend!!'

'We had a wonderful stay in Tappahannock on the Rappahannock River. Everything in the house was clean and well kept. The space the 5 bedrooms offered gave all us an opportunity to relax. Ashley was extremely hospitable and great to work with! Definitely recommend!!'

'Very accommodating, comfy beds (a real +). Kitchen fully loaded with supplies (including spices and condiments). We spent so much time down on the dock crabbing and fishing. Our dogs loved the freedom and space. Made friends with others in the area and did dog walks with them.'

'I met up with a good friend for a long weekend that immediately felt too short. The house is absolutely wonderful! Views galore. Total peace and tranquility. Very private. We just wanted to enjoy the cove, drink coffee by the water and enjoy excursions to Gloucester, Gwynn Island, and Mathews. The house was perfectly located but was wonderful just one its own. We hope to come back soon and take out the kayaks in the warmer weather.'

'This property was so clean, the views out the windows were spectacular, and the water is right there! I greatly enjoyed the kayak and my dog just loved the privacy he had to play in the water. The host was extremely quick to respond and was one of the nicest hosts we've ever had. Highly recommend this spot and we can't wait to return!'

'The home was exactly as described. Just pack a bag and everything else is there. Fully equipped property in a quiet location. The only thing I will add is the master bed was smaller than desired, otherwise everything was perfect! We would love to return at another time when the temps are warmer.'

'We had a nice, comfortable stay in Mathews. Our daughter graduated from USCG BM A School in Yorktown, about 35min from this property. She stayed one night with us, along with my husband, my father in law, two teens and two dogs. The house is very dog friendly with supplies and a big yard. Clean, comfortable place to hang out! Awesome communication with host! Great breakfast at Howard-Dooley Cafe just a few minutes away.'

'We were sold on the rental because of its size, location, and pet friendliness. The hosts provided an immaculate, spacious, and attractive rental, complete with bedding and towels. The kitchen had all the necessities, including lots of flatware, mugs, glasses, plates, pots and pans. Dishwasher, coffee maker and Keurig were also provided. Full clothes washer and dryer made it possible for us to do our laundry and pack it clean for home. Home is nestled overlooking the river. Expansive windows...

'We had a great stay. At one point he heat went out and we were out for the day and they had the issue fixed before we returned how. The home was very nice and the extra space was very relaxing. Our stay was extended with no problem. We would defiantly stay here again when in the area.'
