I am extremely happy with Hotel Apache, its a very simple set up but one that works well, beautifully retro rooms thats simple, my room on the 3rd floor was peaceful, only hear a slight thud from the music subs on freemont st which didn't bother me at all, close to all the action, recommanded if your looking for a straightward affordable no resort fee stay.

The Apache is great. You get what you pay for, and then some. This was surprisingly clean and quiet, considering where it is. Yes, it's rough around the edges. Yes, it's old. That's part of the charm. The room was quite nice, very clean all things considered. Price is right.

Terrible place. DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL. Nowhere in the description did it say the room was next to a loud speaker. The extractor in the bathroom didn't work, so the whole room smelled horrible. The staff didn't care. Its a horrible dirty place. DO STAY IN THIS HOTEL!!!

Great historical hotel that markets itself as haunted. I didn't see any ghosts. The room was clean and comfortable. Best part was the reasonable price and NO RESORTS FEES.

Comfortable rooms and bed. Excellent location. However, there was no receptionist when we arrived and the women on the phone with a southern accent was extremely rude. Why do we have to go all the way to Four Queens to check in? Also no people there to help us to our rooms so had to ask a guest to make sure we did not get lost.

We enjoyed this old-style hotel very much. Yes, it is older - at least the section we stayed in, only 3 stories, not in the Binion's tower - but after the long hallways our room was updated, clean, quiet. Check in was quick with Michael greeting us with a cute quip about the recent lotto winner of 1.3 Billion was from Oregon, where we live. Fun and Funny. The garage elevator was usually dirty and/or wet, and you had to walk through part of the casino to get to the hotel elevator, at least it was clean. Halls were very long to find room but fitted out well with all we needed and quiet. Easy walk to Fremont Street and the Fremont Experience, and other dining options. We stayed 3 nights and went to the hotel's Whiskey Licker Up Saloon on the 2nd floor which overlooks the Fremont Experience. Great food and service - especially with Cierra, the bar tender of the revolving bar who was a treat to watch as she took orders, made drinks, delivered food and plates/silverware etc like a ballet dancer! We went back a 2nd time just because of her great services and talent - as much fun as watching the Fremont Experience from that vantage point - also worth going to!! Overall, despite the age and length of hallways, we enjoyed our stay!!

Unique, historic downtown feel. Love the convenience and being able to walk right down to the casino floor. Room was small, clean and cute. Value was excellent. I’d stay again in a heartbeat.

If you manage your expectations Hotel Apache was awesome. It's older, extremely basic and the rooms are noisy because it's on top of the casino and many rooms face the road/Fremont Street. But it's really charming, clean and staff was basically friendly. They leave you alone, which I like. For the price I would totally stay there again. Bring your own coffee maker though :-)

The good: You don't have to take the elevator to get to your room. There are three sets of stairs you can choose from. That is really neat. It is like maze. The room has a decent sized TV that is higher up on the wall. The high ceiling makes the room seem a little bigger. The walls have nice vintage black and white pictures on them. The bathroom is attractive. The air conditioner/heater is in a nice location, and it's nice to stand in front of it to warm up/cool down. The bad: There is not much space to set things on. The night stands and the table can get really crowded. The bathroom was cramped. I could hear a person in another room talking on the phone a lot. I tried to get my sleep time to match his sleep time so I could fall asleep. That didn't always work though. The doors make a loud noise when they shut, and that can wake you up. When I go back I will try to stay somewhere else, mainly because of the noise coming from adjacent rooms. I have stayed here before and have been able to handle noise from neighbors, but this time the noise was worse than before. I still might stay here again, but if I do I need to be prepared for noisy neighbors and little sleep. Some rooms get noisy more easily than others do. I had a good toilet this time, but in the past I have had to call maintenance to come and unclog my toilet.

My new favorite Vegas hotel
Been staying here several times now and I continue to be very impressed and satisfied with my accomodations. The location is great, being on Fremont Street with all it's entertainment and excitement. The Apache provides good value and an extra hour to checkout makes things even better. When in Vegas, this is the place for my enjoyment.
