"Functional hotel but very small rooms, very little space, no space for suitcase. If you stay more than 1 night with 2 persons too tiny. Missing some atmosphere at the hotel but a good location."

"A nice hotel in a good neighborhood with small rooms. The location of the hotel is good and the breakfast and coffee is good. The lounge downstairs is nice. There is an iron lounge in the top floor for business purposes. The overall cleanness was a little bit disappointment. I found hairs on multiple locations in my room. Also the alarm went off at the middle of the night, which was the co2/smoke alarm. The staff “investigated” the alarm after 3 reminders the next day with the result nothing is wrong, because that was what the manager said. I am sorry but if an alarm as such goes of it has to do something with safety and not an opinion. No investigation was done and no apologies were made. "

"Ideale ligging in een zeer mooie en nette omgeving. Eetgelegenheden genoeg op wandelafstand. Verhuurstation voor Capitol Bikeshare in de buurt. Hotelkamers zijn nieuw maar niet groot. Wel zeer proper. "

"This was absolutely amazing! I am a solo traveler and was in D.C for 7 days, 5 of which I had spent in a hostel nearby. I didn’t my best in that hostel, so I left and decided to book my last night in DC at the Generator in a shared dorm room (they have shared, and private rooms). Right from the moment I entered the lobby, it was great. The atmosphere was great, the personnel (and guests) were so nice, and I felt immediately at home. I solo travel a lot but did not have th experience I had hoped for at my first hostel, and the Generator really turned my trip around for the better! Forever grateful. Keep it up!"

"Prima locatie van het hotel. Het hotel oogt erg netjes. De kamer is op het eerste oog prima. De bedden zijn heerlijk. Toch een paar kleine dingen die niet goed gingen. Toilet zat verstopt bij eerste gebruik(wel gelijk opgelost). We hadden geen douchegel in de kamer (maar 2x shampoo in de houder, slordig). Douchekop is echt aan vervanging toe. Rolgordijnen werken niet (koordjes geknapt). Lampenkap met gaten erin. Maar gezien de locatie zouden we zeker opnieuw boeken. "
