Excellent experience!
The property and home were exactly as described and the owners were extremely responsive, any time I reached out. The home is beautiful and so well stocked - they really have it dialed in and I was very appreciative of that. All the extra attention to detail, in things like having cupboards labeled, the laminated information packet, the state park pass, the snow shovels on the front porch, it all made our stay even that much better! I would highly recommend this home and the owners to anyone needing a cozy and comfortable place to stay, while visiting Leavenworth.

Cozy Cabin in Leavenworth (Close to Town)
This cute little cabin was as advertised and had everything we needed. The hosts were so nice and helpful! They gave us some great recommendations for town and checked in with us to be sure we had all we needed. The cabin was fully stocked so we were able to cook meals in which we also appreciated. This cabin was a short distance to town (maybe 5 min. drive) so it was super convenient. Overall it was a fantastic experience and we will be back! Thank you! :)

Best getaway ever
This little cabin is a real gem. The location is quiet and beautiful, nestled against Icicle Ridge. It is clean, the kitchen is nicely appointed, the hosts are super friendly and helpful, and the dogs were fun. We loved our stay here!

Leavenworth Getaway
This stop was an add on to a Seattle trip. We loved the location because it was perfectly centered along Icicle Rd between the state hwy 2 and Icicle Creek trails. We also had quick access to Leavenworth for dining and wine tasting. Our hosts were supportive and friendly and gave us tons of tips on things to see and do. The property was beautiful and well kept. The cabin was set back off the road behind the owner’s home. It has plenty of space with a nice private feel. It is comfortable and well equipped. We found everything we needed for our three night stay. We would definitely stay here again.

beautifully decorated cabin in the valley
This property was carefully crafted with natural wood, high ceilings and a lot of light. The furniture was beautiful too! The kitchen was modern and had everything you would need to prepare a meal. We especially liked the location, which was far enough out of town to be peaceful but within walking distance of the fish hatchery and a small resort where you could get a snack. Leavenworth is beautiful at this time of year, with trees just beginning to leaf out. There is great food in town! Some hiking trails were closed because of snow but many were open and full of wildflowers. We would come back!

cozy cabin great for a family getaway
This is a very cozy cabin that a family will enjoy staying at regardless of time of year. Be prepared to bring apples to feed the deer. The hosts are extremely friendly and super helpful. We arrived by bus and they offered to drive us around including pickup/dropoff to/from the bus/train station and to/from town center. Overall we had a wonderful time.

My kids and I had a great time staying at this cabin. It was so welcoming and cozy and warm. The music was playing when we arrived. It was everything and more how vrbo described it. We loved it!!!

An incredible spot!
We stayed two nights and just lived it. The area is so gorgeous that we were out hiking most of the time but the house was so comfortable and easy to access. So nice and clean. Highly recommend for enchantment through hikers or people just exploring the area.

Wonderful,Relaxing stay
We absolutely loved our stay at Shannon and Mike's quaint cottage. It was so relaxing. The cottage was so clean and decorated so nice and cozy. Shannon and Mike were so great. We enjoyed visiting with them. Sitting out on the deck and taking in the scenery was so relaxing. We definitely will be back!

What a beautiful place to spend spring break! My teenage daughter and I spent a week here and it was exactly what we needed. Everything was what we needed it to be. The owner was very helpful without being intrusive. A wonderful vacation all around. Will definitely be returning!

Cozy, beautiful & relaxing. Spent a long weekend here with another couple and our babies. Shannon & Mike were very accommodating. A pack and play as well as high chair was even provided. Lots of space to play outside. The home was also incredibly clean! We will definitely be back soon!

We have been going to Leavenworth every winter for two decades, and this cottage was a winter wonderland. Great owners on property, convenient to town and winter sports/parks, and more. Now I want to visit in the summer to see what this excellent place looks like when it’s not covered in snow! 😃

The perfect getaway cabin
Our family of three booked this property for 7 nights over the Thanksgiving holiday. The cabin is very nice and is just under 1000 sq ft, but it didn't seem small and it had everything we needed and more. I cooked a full Thanksgiving meal in the kitchen and didn't want for anything. The owners are onsite and were very kind to offer anything additional we might need. The beds are comfortable, the heated floors in the bathrooms are heavenly, the electric fireplace actually puts out quite a bit of heat besides looking nice and they had an electric kettle that we used constantly. As for the location, it's just outside of town which we liked. Close enough to go in for meals or shopping, and far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet. We like our privacy but it was actually nice having the owners onsite in case we needed anything or wanted recommendations. Thanks to Shannon and Mike for being such kind and considerate hosts.

Just a perfect rental with great hosts! Comfortable interior space for 4 adults, wonderful outdoor living, strong wifi for a day of work from home meetings, and it was close to everything in the area. This will be our first choice when we return to Leavenworth!

Great little cabin with great hosts close to hiking
Stayed for 4 nights. Location is great on Icicle Road, close to hiking and the Sleeping Lady Resort and a very short drive to downtown Leavenworth. The hosts live on the property and are kind and thoughtful. The kitchen is well stocked and was great for making meals. Comfortable bed and everything was very clean. The propane fireplace and chairs on the deck are an extra bonus for relaxing after a good day of hiking.

Missing some things we expected such as sugar, olive oil, salad bowls. There aren't any local guide books for hiking or biking. The two we saw were outdated and from western Washington. Nice location and quiet.

To reply to them, the cabin is supplied with things such as coffee, variety of teas, hot chocolate, popcorn, veggie oil, foil, saran wrap. But we did not realize that we had ran out of sugar. For our future guests, the kitchen is equipped with plenty of bowls, plates, utencils. Blender, mixer, coffee grinder, crock pot, toaster, coffee pot and more. There are a couple of local books, but many of our guests already know the hikes that they plan on doing. We had others, but unfortunately, they walked off with past guests. We also supply a parking trail pass for our guests to explore the area...as we are just a couple of miles from the most popular trails in Leavenworth. Great place for multi-generational holiday stay!
Treated my children and grandchildren to a 3-night stay the week before Christmas. Wonderful cottage decorated for the holidays, comfortable beds and full kitchen with large island for cooking together. Plenty of space outside for playing in the snow and building a snowman. Owners were onsite and available but respectful of our privacy. We had a Wonderful time and hope to return next year!

Charming, cozy cabin!
We stayed at this cabin for one of the Leavenworth Christmas Lighting weekends and it was fantastic! We were welcomed by Christmas lights, decor and music - it was fun. This cabin was so cute and cozy, perfect for the holidays! Shannon and Mike are so wonderful and provided us lots of tips and suggestions. We will definitely be coming back soon!

We came to Shannon & Mike's cabin with our daughter & son-in-law from Chicago. It was a wonderful homebase from the our hikes and walks around town. The kitchen is well appointed and it was fabulous to be able to have access to a washer/dryer. We will be back! Thank you both many times.

Beautiful area close enough to town but far enough away for a peaceful getaway!
Great location, beautiful and cozy, well laid out cabin! My hubby and I stayed for a relaxing, just the 2 of us, getaway. We loved all the sights and stores of town but loved the cabin more! We had a doe and her 2 babies in the front yard and neighboring field for several hours, they were so much fun to watch! Fully equipped kitchen that made meal prep easy! Really enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and Amazon music! Could have easily brought the kids and had a fun family vaca! I really enjoyed meeting the owners dogs (I’m a big animal lover)! We will definitely be back!!

Greta and Hank (our Dogs), especially Greta our doodle loves to meet our guests, so thank you for being so kind and welcoming with her. For the most part, the dogs are always inside the fence and do not meet many of our guests. Amazing Cabin & Weekend!
Wonderful stay, hands down! The cabin was immaculate upon arrival not to mention comfy and cozy. We had a work conference at the Sleeping Lady and decided to stay here instead, best decision!! Mike and Shannon were wonderful and helped us with needs throughout the weekend. We cooked, enjoyed a glass of wine on the patio and relaxed during the time off work. Very nice location in a convenient neighborhood close to town. Quiet and cozy with lovely details. Don’t let the square footage deter you, there was plenty of space for the three of us. Two full bedrooms and baths. Ample seating for TV watching in the evening. Great kitchen. Treated to several visits from the neighborhood deer!
