Gunstig gelegen op Legian. Loop afstand van het strand. 2 zwembaden. Nette kamers. Upgrade gehad van superiour naar de luxe. Ondanks we geen late check out konden krijgen werd er door het hotel wel een hospitality kamer aangeboden waar we voordat we vertrokken nog even konden douche en opfrissen. Ontbijt is ok maar niet super uitgebreid. Was een buffet maar miste eigelijk wel wat kaas en vlees als beleg.

We stayed here for 2 weeks. The curtains are full of holes (see pictures) and the built in aircon didn’t work properly. I like the temperature 23 C, but even on 16 C it was still warm. We asked the staff, but nothing changed. After a few days the aircon started to drip water and showing black. With only a notification on a small piece of paper in the black folding map the hotel wants the guest to know, that only with that piece of paper placed on the bed, the bed would be cleaned. Note: the reception didn’t inform us about this policy. We are not the persons to ask for cleaning every day, but after a long day touring and accidentally falling asleep on the bed without shower, we asked the bed to be cleaned. But even after asking with the paper, the sheets were still oily from sun crème and there was still the same dirty spot on the pillowcase. Because of my suspicion, I put something in the pillowcase and asked for new sheets again the day after. After ‘cleaning’ the room I found the same dirty spot on the pillowcase and the thing I hide was still in the same place. We asked the reception for new sheets and they only replaced the pillow cases, one pillow case already with a stain on it (see picture). On the baggage holder we put a bottle of vodka. Full. When we started packing the last day the vodka was half empty. We didn’t drink a drop of the vodka. I got the vodka as a gift when we stayed somewhere else with family. I’m the only vodka drinker, but because of an accident wit

Heel netjes allemaal en super vriendelijk personeel. Alleen het ontbijtbuffet was karig en duurde lang voor het allemaal werd bijgevuld en was ook vaak al koud ondanks dat het in rechauds zat waar vuurpotten onder zaten!

Goede ligging voor uitgaan en eten
Hotel ligt aan de levendige Legian Street. Hier gebeurt alles. Uitgaan, eten, massages. Doordat er geen directe discotheken er naast zijn is er ook geen geluidsoverlast. We konden met open balkon deur slapen, zonder ergens last van te hebben. We kregen iedere dag een andere honeymoon verrassing; eerst rozen en daarna beertjes! Wat lief!

Het is een prima hotel. Het ligt midden in een drukke winkelstraat. De hele dag veel verkeer, harde muziek, en bouwgeluiden om je heen. Dit verwacht je echt als je boekt hotel dicht bij strand is misschien iets naief.

Very smelly of MOULD & all through bathroom. Water from shower smelt like sewage. Aircon leaking mouldy water. Rat spotted in eating area. When checking out was charged $40 aud for small stain in bed sheet, from tattoo touching lightly. Highly recommend to stay away from this accommodation.

2泊したが初日からエアコンが調子悪く、スタッフから連絡があったのが最終日の夜中の2時だった。そこからの部屋移動になった。ハンドタオルが人数分なく、2日目も1枚しかなかった。立地はいいが、VIPAccessのグレードアップもなく、こちらからアップグレードを申し出ても意味をわかっていなかった。ホテルはガラガラで日本語は通じない。バリ島は4回目だが、ここはもう泊まることはない。

I've stayed at the Sun Island Legian numerous times and always really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, this time we found out on check in the main pool was closed, which is the main reason I like to stay there. The staff on check-in were quite short and not helpful. Breakfast was really limited compared to previous stays. Our air-conditioning wouldn't work one night and we waited over an hour for someone to come and look at it, no one came and I had to go to reception and strongly suggest a switch of rooms, which the staff were reluctant to do. This took another half an hour with no apologies or real care from reception. On our final day the manger told us we could have switched to another one of their resorts at anytime because of the pool, this was not offered at all during the whole stay. Just a bit disappointed and probably will look elsewhere next time I'm in Legian.

The grubs in Room 117 31st/12-5/1 were absolute trash cans. Fighting at all hours, swearing, yelling, smashing things yet no-one intervened. I complained several times the several nights they did this and nothing happened. Overall for the rubbish next door to us. Maybe they need security for these reasons.

Extememly happy with the value of this hotel. The staff was spectacualrly welcoming every time I saw them, and genuinely wanted the best for us during our stay. The location is great if you like endless dining options, night life, or the beach, all within walkable distances. Also, no need to walk to the corner store for drinking water, as Sun island provides free water from dispensers located just steps away from your room on each floor. This beats other 4 or five stare hotels I've been to here in Bali! The only cons I can think of are that the deck boards around the pool areas are quite tired and unsafe in a couple spots, and a few minor interior finishings around the hotel are the same way. Nothing horrible, just watch your step. This is understandable because of what Covid did to the local economy here. Every hotel I've stayed at has been this way to some degree.

Hotel ottimamente posizionato, nel cuore di Legian, a pochi minuti a piedi da Kuta beach. Personale gentile e molto disponibile, peccato che la struttura sia ormai lasciata a se stessa e necessiti di interventi di manutenzione a 360°. Colazione un po' scarna, zanzare in abbondanza.

Fantastiv hotel, lots of value for money
Exelent hotelrooms, fantastiv staff, Novi in the reception should teach in the art of servive, she is fantastic, but that goes formthe rest of the staff aswell.

A tidy 4-star hotel. Nice room, excellent cleaning and friendly staff. Buffet breakfast every morning the same but adequate. I recommend this to those who want a haven from the hustle and bustle.

Having stayed here when it first opened have found the upkeep has dropped off immensely . Swim up bar available but unstaffed , no ladder out of said pool cut my foot climbing out due to broken flooring . Breakfast dissapointing . I like the hotel and staff are really good but just dissapointed knowing how good it was and can be .

Place was very dirty and run down, breakfast was definitely the worst I’ve ever had, bathroom was dirty and had hair in the shower (not my own), pool bar was closed down and was so dirty and unpleasant. Would never stay again or recommend to anyone else. Lift was also broken down so had to take multiple flights of stairs to get to my room and was never offered help with bags when returning to my room after shopping

Lovely staff and excellent location but the place is very unsafe and very run down. Timber around the pool is very dangerous to walk on. Very basic breakfast but excellent staff and service.
