'We thoroughly enjoyed the rural idyll of Oleander House in October. Housekeeper Aggeliki was very helpful and caring, answering all our questions on local foods, habits etc. and giving us lots of useful tips. At the end of the season we had Kambos Beach, which was just a five-minute walk from the house, more or less all to ourselves. We truly had a relaxing time there.'

'The house was perfect for our friends. Had a wonderful patio for sitting watching the sunrise and sunset. The cake left by our host was delicious. Having Loucas meet us from the ferry with a taxi who took us straight to the house was so easy. AC is 2 bedrooms was very much appreciated. Towels and linen were excellent. After our flight was cancelled we had to quickly arrange to spend an extra night and everyone was very helpful and arranged it quickly for us which was appreciated. Great hosts and...

The house is beautifully equipped with good quality fixtures and fittings, has a lovely terrace area looking over vineyards and fields. But the standard of service was something we'd never encountered before with the wonderful Lina who came everyday to clean the property and provide any help or information we needed. She is a great asset to Nicoletta and her team and made our stay extra special....

'Prettig verblijf'

'Het verblijf op Amorgos was voor herhaling vatbaar. De locatie (het huisje) heeft daartoe bijgedragen. Er zijn veel wandelmogelijkheden. de halfuur durende wandeling naar de haven en het strand over een oud ezelpad is goed te doen. Het dorpje (waar het huis zich bevindt) is erg mooi en niet te toeristisch. Er zijn een aantal goede taverna's en een winkeltje. Er rijden geen auto's. In plaats daarvan ezeltjes!'

'Despite being in a small 'complex' of houses, this one is separate and more private than the others with lovely garden and shady terrace. A bit of a walk from the car park, but we soon got used to that. Eirini and Kostas were superstars with their care of us and the property. It is perfect for a couple - one bedroom has no wardrobe space (would benefit with some hooks on the wall with hangers maybe?) and the other has a good wardrobe so needed this room to unpack our things. We had a happy time...

'Maria was a really friendly, communicative host, she made us aware that due to an unforeseen issue we were not staying in the listed property. The house we stayed in by all means was really nice, big, large outdoor area, great social kitchen diner. However... we were a group of 8. This house only had 7 beds. The advertised property had 4 bathrooms, this house had 2. An 8th bed did arrive in time for the 3rd night. We did feel like one of our group had been duped out of 2 nights by having to...

'prima slaapkamers en iedere slaapkamer een eigen badkamer. wel enige problemen met de afvoer maar dat werd direct opgelost door de zeer vriendelijke eigenaar. algemene ruimte (keuken en terras) is wat beperkt.'

'The house has a very nice view and the owner is also nice. However it is quite old, has no A/C, no dishwasher, has only one room whereas it is advertised for 5 persons. More importantly the owner leaves below in a tent and stays there all the time. Talk about a dream vacation. The rate paid is outrageous for the level of comfort and the quality. To be avoided.'
