Due to the floods that happened a couple of weeks ago, we had an issue with the gate, and it needed to get serviced. Every guest with a vehicle pays for parking. Aloha Tiffany and Chris,Mahalo for taking the time to share your recent experience at OUTRIGGER Kauai Beach Resort and Spa. Upon reviewing your reservation, you initially made your reservation through the Kama'aina rate for Hawaii residents which requires a Hawaii State ID upon check in. As you were unable to provide a Hawaii ID, we could do for 1 of 2 options; 1. Amend the rate to our best available rate or 2. You could book another way, which in turn you made it through expedia. I also see that we refunded the initial deposit of 395.18 back to you upon booking your new reservation. All fees are stated on expedia's website to include the daily resort charge as well as our parking fee. As for our water slide, it is open daily with modified hours from 9AM-11AM and 1PM-3:30PM daily and until 4PM Friday-Sunday. It is our sincere optimism to provide a pleasant experience on your next visit, Aloha!
