Short Getaway
Nice views, great place to land every night after excursions to surrounding area. Great to have a private court yard. Rooms are all in the downstairs hallway w/one full bath w/shower. Plenty of towels provided (bath & beach) Kitchen nicely stocked with all your cooking and eating needs. For small groups it was nice to have a small Keurig. Nice assortment of reading materials and puzzles. Thanks for a nice stay.

Amazing View!
This was our 1st trip to Oregon and we really enjoyed Lincoln City. The views from the house were spectacular! The house was very clean and we all slept great!

Reunion Getaway!
This was a great place for 6 "older" high school friends to have our annual trip! Almost everyone got a room to themselves and we all got our own bed, which is something we all want and is hard to find. The cabin is so kitschy but also comfortable. The stairs to the beach were so steep but there is a sign that points to an easier access if that's something you want. The view is absolutely incredible, a front row view! We saw sea lions playing in the waves and a few walker enjoying the beach, just like we did! The Road's End part of LC is so historic and just lovely. A very nice stay!

Perfect Beach House for groups
Lots of bedrooms. Private stairs to the beach. The only way to go. Loved the hot tub to warm up. Lots of towels which was a major plus. Kitchen was a little small but it got the job done. We had the best time soaking up the ocean and the sand. It’s beautiful.

Absolutely amazing views!!!! Beautiful classic home
Stayed with my husband and 4 kids( all under 10) and my in laws. Walking in the front door to see the view took our breath away! Like something out of a movie! The home is beautiful and perfectly laid out. Plenty of space and room for everyone. Loved being able to cook, have a drink, enjoy the view and my family ♥️ Only constructive criticism is the stairway to the beach is incredibly steep but there is better access walking distance which is nice. Was thankful for a pac n play being left for our baby but it was filthy. Overall was an easy process and beautiful home, would love to go back and look forward to doing so!

Amazing place to stay even during winter
We stayed in this property on first week of March. We were stunned at the views from the minute we walked in. Two things that didn't effect our stay but is good to know before going is the showers don't have shampoo and conditioner so bring your own. The hot tub is small and can fit 2 to maximum 4 people (including 2 kids) only so if you have a large group and want to enjoy a hot tub together, it might be small for you. The property was very clean. The kitchen was fully stacked. Lots of towels and every room except one had amazing views. Easy access to the beach. I will rate this place a 5 star.

Sisters retreat
Incredible view!!!! Inviting, open and clean! A little outdated but nice. Low hot water pressure in kitchen, fire alarm chirping, downstairs fireplace didnt work (didn't matter to us!) side door in furnace room won't open and fence key hole needs graphite? These things did not effect our wonderful visit. Just for owners to be aware. Also this is not good for handy capped as there are stairs. Would definitely return!

Incredible ocean view
Celebrated my 70th birthday with family here. The large windows facing the ocean gave us incredible ocean views and sunsets. Easy access to the beach and home was well stocked with everything we needed. I loved sleeping with just the sound of the ocean.

Family girls get away
Exactly what we were after. A beachfront cabin to rest, relax, and enjoy easy beach walks. Bucket list items checked as we got to see whales from the window and beach as well as a fall storm bringing in the crashing waves. Looking forward to returning soon.

Great location , beautiful views!
Family of 8 had wonderful stay , we all had a great time and really enjoyed the views and location . Water heater stopped working for a few hours and A-1 was great at getting it working again within a few minutes very prompt! Only 2 things that would I mention would be if you have smaller kiddos that still need or like to take baths there are no bathtubs only shower stalls. 2nd is the stairs down to the beach are very steep which could pose a problem if anyone in your group has mobility issues. We would stay here again!

It's great you loved that big beach view . I'm sorry the house wasn't what you expected. I purchased new flooring and furniture earlier in the year and new big flat screen . I stock the kitchen (although small) with every supply a guest might need to create a masterpiece and then some. I've reached out to you through email to get details so that I can keep the great reviews and guest experience the best. Tough to hear anything less but I would appreciate details to make sure everything makes for a wonderful guest experience. Thank you for staying.

We loved the big windows with incredible views, layout of the house, deck, and courtyard with hot tub. It had everything we needed. My only complaint would be uncomfortable beds but it was not a deal breaker.

It was the perfect stay for my family. Having beach access, plenty of walking beach and rocks to explore were wonderful. The house fit our needs with plenty of bedrooms for 4 generations of adults and one 4 year old. Loved all the windows to watch the waves and people. Kitchen met all our needs. Only concern we had was the sliding door was very hard to open and close (track is bad). The other access door downstairs had a bad handle and could not be used. Other than that we enjoyed everything about the home and locations. Thanks for a great expperience!

Beautiful view.
I like the structure of the entrance. make you feel safe, but the hot tub there does not fit. If I may, the hot tub should be on the deck where the ocean view is. A clean house with beautiful views. well equipped kitchen and can find anything there. We had great time in that spacious living room. Kitchen is beautiful with views and bright. We can walk straight down to the beach from the house. comfortable cute bedroom lining in lower level makes the house cozy if someone spend longer time in bedroom.

Amazing location!!!
You cannot beat the location of this house. There were 8 of us and the grand baby and it was super spacious and comfortable. I do wish the kitchen was bigger with more counter space for cooking but who cares because it’s still a fully stocked kitchen and was very do- able We made our thanksgiving dinner there just fine. We definitely enjoyed our stay

End of summer beach escape
The family enjoyed their time at the coast. The home was spacious enough for all of us. Nice that each bedroom has a queen sized bed. Only issue was that when we arrived the shades had been left open with the sun shining in and the house was hot. We easily cooled it by opening windows and using the box fan though. It was a great location for our coast trip. Thank you!

We had a great family reunion at this property. Plenty of room for togetherness and privacy too. The only negative (and it is a small thing) was the staircase down to the beach. Too steep. They need to be changed.

The location was very nice, but the home was too outdated. The bathrooms were sub-standard as well as the locks were not working. Given value to the money spent, it was a mismatch.

Great views, but house needs some work.
Walking into the house it's obvious the views are fantastic! It's perfect viewing no matter the weather. We also enjoyed the hot tub a lot. It was clean and the perfect temperature. However, the house did have some issues that should be addressed. First we noticed a number of carpenter ants around the kitchen and in the TV room. They provided spray and additional traps which helped, but it didn't resolve the problem completely. Additionally, the electrical in the house is wonky with strange timer switches around the house. My husband is an electrician and said that it was obviously a wiring issue and a safety concern as it could start a fire. We also discovered that there were sugar ants in at least one of the bedrooms downstairs. One morning I was woken up to the sugar ants crawling on me. I know ants can be stubborn to get rid of, but the problem should not be that extensive if you are getting the house treated regularly. We also did not eat downstairs at all per the owner's request. There was mold in the downstairs shower and it was obvious it needed a complete overhaul. Finally, the access to the beach was scary and a hazard. It's a very steep set of stairs which could be challenging for some. But, we felt confident we could get down ok. However looking back at the stairs from the beach, they were very worn and old. They definitely didn't look like they should be walked on. It's hard to tell from the house or top due to the steepness if the stairs. They are a huge hazard and should be replaced before someone falls through and gets seriously hurt. Overall, the house had some great qualities. But, with all the issues, I would not stay here again unless they do some serious work to the house.

Thanks so much for staying at Roads End. I'm happy you enjoyed the view, hot tub and cleanliness. Those are # 1 goals. I'm sorry you had ants appear. There were none reported by any guests previous to your stay. A quick response with organic safe spray treatment was necessary during your stay but professional help after your stay was a must. That can happen in the Spring especially with record rains. I called a professional asap and they are gone. The beach stairs are steep and are safety checked often. The wood is weathered but stairs are screwed and nailed. I'll reach out to you on the lighting. I have not heard any previous comments or problems with lighting. This home has so many great reviews and making sure everyone who comes to visit has a great vacation and wants to return is #1 goal. Thank you for taking the time to report your stay. I'm on it.
