'This was our first time staying in Sacramento. Been to it and thru it a million times but have never stayed!! This cottage/home/neighbirhood. Felt like home. ABSOLUTELY gorgeous neighborhood! Immaculately clean and super well equipped! We might come back just for fun next time. We were in town for a volleyball tournament and didn’t get to relax or enjoy the serenity of this property! The owners were so accommodating, gracious, sooooo easy to contact. I just cannot say enough good things about...

'Hummingbird House is clean and spacious, and has pretty much everything you need. The views are very pretty and there is plenty of outdoor space to enjoy--with decking on three sides and lots of outdoor furniture and three sets of sliding doors. The only negative I would mention is that the laundry room is on the other side of the bedroom wall, so you can hear the washing machine when it is running and it was somewhat loud. Also, there is no TV, but if you want to watch TV (as we did) a laptop...

'The home is in a great location. All of the utensils needed were in the kitchen. All of the rooms were very clean and ready for our stay when we arrived. Check in was extremely easy. The hosts were helpful and answered questions in a timely manner. We had a wonderful experience.'

'This house was amazing. Beautiful yard, amazing views, and located just far enough from town to have everything you need nearby and still feel a bit secluded. Bob had something cooking in the smoker which filled the yard with something delicious! Both he and Jean were a pleasure to meet and chat with a bit. All in all a great trip and awesome property!'

'Such a cute vacation rental. Love the beautiful fenced back yard and patio. Enjoyed coffee outside each day. Near shopping and great restaurants yet located off the beaten path. Second stay and will definitely stay again.'

Communication was excellent, describing every detail on how to operate lights, locks, hot tub, and thermostat. We enjoyed great views and walks. Fresh eggs were wonderful. I asked about a floor fan for the sake of white noise and they made sure there was one there when we arrived! They’re flexible and gracious and I can’t wait for trip #3! 'The smell of the many trees surrounding the property was invigorating. While there are neighboring properties within eyesight, and the owners live on site, our experience was very peaceful. From what the owner told me upon our arrival Spring might be the best time to visit when everything is blooming. The grounds had a Wintertime dead look while we stayed over Christmas. The unit was comfortably furnished, and wood was provided for the stove. The only negative thing I have to say about the terms...

'Great residential location close to town and near a beautiful city park. The place is nicely decorated, very clean, and I loved the private patio where I had my meals. The host was kind and responsive. It has everything you need for a great stay!!!!'

'We enjoyed our stay here for one night! We were able to walk to downtown for dinner. There’s also a Target right down the street for any last minute groceries needed. The place was clean and quiet.'
