'We could'nt really recommend Clifton Villa more highly. The staff could not be more friendly & helpful, the place is immaculate, in room facilities, fridge, tea, coffee, microwave, in room eating area superb and loads more character than your average Travel Lodge or Premier Inn. '

'For the cost of the hotel I expected better service. There was one waiter serving from the bar and we sat on the lawned terrace for 25 minutes and no one came to serve us so I had to ask reception to send someone. The spa is very old and desperately in need of a full refurbishment. The food was fairly good but considering the cost wasn’t worth it as I've eaten better three course meals for less in many other top restaurants. 'What a diamond we’ve found. Beautifully situated and good parking. Spotless clean throughout the period property with a sense of luxury. Extremely comfortable stay which I was made even more special by the young lady at reception who booked us in early and served us at breakfast. We are dairy and gluten free by allergy which can be challenging to find suitable restaurants however the hotel catered for us and probably one of the breakfasts we’re had in a long time.
