'Due to deplorable condition of the unit, we did not stay. We notified host and stayed in a hotel. Host agreed to refund my money. The next day, he said VRBO would charge me because the unit was taken off market and I had not canceled. So I need to pay one day. That was a lie. Host tricked me and used VRBO so instead of the cancellation and refund, Host revised my 21 day stay to a one day stay so I am denied my refund. 'Stayed here during a family funeral. It was a great location to get to all different locations around town. The lake is very pretty and lovely to walk around (.6 miles). I had never seen a Muscovy duck before and it was fun to sit on the benches and watch them. Black dog coffee is about a quarter mile from the house and serves excellent brew. Would stay here again but I hope I don't have to.'

'Note, I am only commenting on the room that I rented, not the entire apartment. Everyone has their own circumstances. The room that I stayed in was kept cleaner than the rest of the apartment. The owner put in effort to make the rental space nice. I entered the apartment and went straight to my rented room only.'
