'Our family enjoyed this home right on the water. Perfect for young families. Lots of toys, games, and kids activities on the property. The paddleboat was a big hit with the little kids. Great location in proximity to downtown, old market, and the zoo. Wonderful hosts. Would highly recommend. Regarding the zoo: we tried to go before school let out for the summer. 'We had a great family time at the VRBO home in Blair, NE. The spaces allowed us plenty of time together as famiy, but the bedrooms were spacious enough to allow us quiet time and separation. The kitchen was nicely equipped and the young ones enjoyed hanging out at the island , keeping track of food prep! The arcade room, the convertable dining table/ping pong table/pool table just took the experience over the top! Our landlord/hosts were very accommodating. We would definitely consider a VRBO...

'Property and stay were great but communication with owner proved difficult. No contact phone info and numerous attempts to contact her upstairs where she lives were unsuccessful. Having a lock on a door is useless when a sign is posted on the door with the combination for the lock.'

'The Carter Lake house was the perfect setting for our family gathering. We had a double celebration - a college graduation and Mother's Day. The diversity of activities and comforts of the home were impressive. We spent time outside on the lake with the kayaks, in the nicely kept back yard playing cornhole, and enjoyed the fire pit under the stars. Inside, we played games in the cozy living room, cooked together in the lovely kitchen, and just enjoyed each other's company throughout the house....

'This house is beautiful, I can only imagine how gorgeous it is when it's a little warmer outside. The owners were friendly and kind. The beds were comfortable and the house was well equipped. We gathered for a wedding and had an absolute blast, with plenty of room for people to spread out and spend time together. We would stay again if we needed to gather as a group. 'The only problem was receiving a bill for extra cleaning due to a supposed pungent odor of marijuana when the owner came to clean. We were unable to find trash can liners so we bought some. Unfortunately they were scented with mint causing the owner to accuse of violating property rules and sending an additional bill. We are a law abiding family of nob smokers and resent the accusation.'

'This apartment was exactly as listed and by far the cleanest rental we’ve ever stayed in. It is very cute - small, but cozy and exactly as pictured. The beds and couches were so comfortable.
