'This was a very clean and comfortable basement apartment, I enjoyed our stay. There was a very minor complication, an extra lock was left locked but our host came to our assistance immediately upon learning of our trouble. I really appreciated having coffee and filters provided, in so many locations that's not the case. And I was glad to meet Bear, the friendly dog. We had four people, sleeping two together and we had plenty of space for us all. Glad we stayed, would return'

'My husband and I stayed for 9 days with our dogs to hike in Daniel Boone National Forest and paddle board in Laurel Lake. The hosts were super kind and even offered to drop us off to do some boating and gave us some fresh eggs for breakfast!'

'I stayed at LCR for a week during a job assignment. The space looks exactly as advertised and was peaceful at night. They’re making some additions to the property right now so it’s pretty noisy during the day. It’s understandable but should be listed on the rental information. They have a cafe with delicious made from scratch “Kentucky style” pizza and specialty coffees. 'This little property is situated behind the main street houses and hard to find. Parking is shared with other homes and crowded and unmarked, blocking people in. It is on the second floor over a garage. The first code did not work to the door. The television did not work. Curtains on bedroom wall were on the floor when we arrived. The bathroom door does not shut due to warped flooring. Coffee was still in the pot from another user. There were no extras so if you are staying there bring your own...

'Sadly, this property didn't live up to how it was presented online. When we got there, we were surprised to find that the property wasn't a house but rather a converted former college faculty housing unit (this is problematic because we travel with our dogs). The housing unit sits on the former Sue Bennett College campus and some of the buildings are vacant and run down. 'Our stay at this property was wonderful. We wanted to get our family of 12 together in one spot to enjoy each other's company, be surrounded by nature, and relax. This property gave us all three. The host was extremely responsive and accommodating and the house had everything you could need. It was awesome to have the lake so close to take a swim. We also enjoyed the cheese maker close by and the farmers market. Highly recommend this rental!!'
