Knusse en nette kamer, netjes ontbijt met geen hele uitgebreide keuze maar prima voldoende, aardig en behulpzaam personeel, dichtbij metrostation naar alle bezienswaardigheden van de stad. Al met al een prima verblijf gehad hier!

Dicht bij straten die wij wilden zien. Op loop afstand is er genoeg te doen. Fijne rustige straat zonder geluidsoverlast. De mensen die er werkte waren vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

We hebben een prima tijd gehad met een goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding en op loopafstand van winkelstraten en het British Museum. Maar ons Christmas Package op de 25e viel wat tegen, omdat wij de enige kerstdinergasten bleken te zijn en er in plaats van een dj heel simpele oubollige muziek was. Eten was niet bijzonder, maar wel goed.

Prima hotel, gunstig gelegen tov centrum. Niet goedkoop maar alles heeft een prijs. Vlakbij zijn wat tentjes waar je veel goedkoper ontbijt kunt halen of nuttigen. Recht tegenover het hotel ligt een goed restaurant.

Nice hotel. The staff was very friendly. I was waiting for my room to be ready and they offered me a nice hot tea while I waited. If you check in early be sure to Email to see if the room will be available early. It is a small hotel. Nice hotel walking distance to the west end shopping on Oxford and Regents Street. The rooms were a bit small but I liked how the neighborhood was quiet. Hotel was also affordable priced. Probably one of the friendliest hotel staff I have experienced in a while.

Excellent!
A very pleasant place to stay. Very convenient location, with numerous tube locations within walking distance to get you about, but given its location, you can pretty much walk to loads of things! The room was excellent, very clean and comfortable…but the room I had had no mini fridge, or bottled water, which…I think should be standard (water at least) My ONLY thing…if you’re not use to London “humm” then, try and get a high floor, I was on the ground floor and could hear the tube underneath, which…was ok. But just a heads up!

Good room, shame about it’s location!
Our room was of a good standard. Unfortunately it was situated on the lower ground floor near to the cleaning cupboards and the restaurant, so encountered some noise from them. However, the worst disturbance was from the noise of the underground tunnel, obviously situated beneath the hotel, and banging of the window frames which went on through the night. When I mentioned this at reception it seemed from the reaction that they were not surprised but all they said was the hotel was full and that was the only room available. Given that I had booked this hotel several months in advance I was not impressed with this response! A great shame as I am sure a different room on a different floor would have been a much better experience. Also did not book breakfast due to the cost - £24 per person!

The gentleman who checked us in was really nice. The bed was hard as a rock and extremely uncomfortable and the pillow were flat and uncomfortable. So we didn't sleep very well. The website said it allowed late check out up until 5pm and when we asked to sleep later due to lack of sleep from flying from the US and we had a funeral to go to the next day the woman said no longer then noon. And then persisted to call us at 11:45 to rush us out. She wasn't very friendly so it left the end of a uncomfortable sleep and check to be a frustrating one. We won't be back.

Disappointing
I really don't think the hotel is worth of 4 star status, it lacks the finer details. Pillows were hard, no shaving mirror, no fridge. The kettle lead didn't reach the plug. Room was small, staff didn't offer any assistance or details of the hotel facilities. We ate out as we weren't encouraged to make use of the hotel restaurant. There was no atmosphere, we never saw other guests in the bar. Quite a faceless establishment. The accommodation was clean if basic. No fridge or shaving mirror, pillows were hard. Small towels rather than bath sheets. Toiletries in single use bottles. Hot water was scalding. Small TV, no catch up channels. Acceptable for a 3 star establishment, but not 4.

I’d definitely stay here again. Only minor complaints were that the hairdryer didn’t work and the bathroom mixer tap was very fickle and it was very hard to get any cold water out of it. But much better than lots of other London hotels I’ve stayed at and the staff were lovely.

Location and nothing else
The hotel is centrally located, close to transport as well as most of central London. My room was on the 4th floor and the double glazing helped keep street noise out. The room was warm and clean. The hotel itself is a bit dated. The entrance to the hotel is up a flight of stairs. There is no ramp to take luggage up and there was no porter so I ended up carrying my luggage up the stairs. I did have help carrying my luggage out when I checked out but had to specifically ask. I also found the overall look of the hotel a bit dated. The bed was uncomfortable, really hard and the pillows were flat and a bit lumpy. Not the type of bedding I was expecting at the price range for the hotel. The reception staff were oddly cold and I didn’t feel welcomed. They did however give me an earlier check-in at 1:30pm. But this was pointed out to me several times, as if a huge favour was being doled out. I’ve stayed at a couple of hotels within the last month as I’ve travelled in and out of London. This was by far the worst experience overall.

Good location. Noisy on 4th floor
Quick check in and lovely room. Very clean. Opted not to have the £25 per person breakfast! Lots of cheaper and great options nearby. Asked reception to investigate the constant banging noise in our room on the 4th floor but when we returned nothing had changed. Banging noise all night, very little sleep. Having been up all night the solution would have been to secure the old wooden sash windows to stop them banging in the slight wind. Very limited options in the bar. Cocktails on the menu but the barman didn't know how to make cocktails!
