Goede uitvalsbasis voor een stedentrip Londen. Net achter Tate Modern en Millenium Bridge. Underground Southwark station dichtbij en heeft goede connecties met het hele netwerk en LCY airport. Als alles meezit een half uur reistijd! RTM-LCY een uitstekende verbinding met BA. Vrij jonge wijk. Aardig wat restaurants en supermarkten aan de overkant van de straat. Kamer vond ik vrij klein in vergelijking met de foto’s op de verschillende sites. Schoonmaak in de badkamer had beter gemogen. Interieur doet wat gedateerd aan. Kamers aan de voorzijde: geen last van het verkeer van buiten. Iedere dag housekeeping. Vriendelijk personeel door het hele hotel. Ontbijt kan beter voor een 4 sterren hotel en vooral de koffie was niet te drinken. Al met al een fijn verblijf!

It is a perfect location with options for shopping very close. The hotel is great, has everything you need and the personnel is very friendly. We were able to check in early and put our luggage in storage when needed. The breakfast also is great, enough variety including gluten free.

Te warm in de kamers
Gedateerd hotel op prima locatie. Op zich een prima hotel, maar de warmte in het hotel is storend. Heb in diverse kamers gelogeerd, maar in geen van de kamers werkt de airco. Slapen met het raam open is aan de voorkant geen optie. Daardoor voor mij toch vaak een slechte nachtrust. Het ontbijt haalt de prijs/kwaliteit verhouding niet.

Ok, wel minder goed dan het lijkt
Hotel oogt trendy en modern, maar beantwoordt niet aan verwachtingen. Kamers zijn klein en hebben bvb geen bagagerek. Douche op de kamer werkt niet goed (kan geen temperatuur houden, waterdebiet hangt af van hoeveel personen in hotel gelijktijdig een douche nemen). Klimaatregeling op de kamer werkte niet, temperatuur op de kamer was veel te warm. Verder: aangename gemene delen, lekker ontbijt, zeer vriendelijk personeel, leuke buurt om weg te gaan, op wandelafstand van centrum.

Great staff, good breakfast but tiny rooms.
I stayed here for 3 nights. City trip with my boyfriend. Upon arrival we were kindly welcomed by the staff. They were very friendly and welcoming. So credits to them. The room was clean and had everything you need as we only used it to catch some sleep. The rooms were a bit small to my opinion. Especially the bathroom. Its not possible to be with two people in the bathroom. Also the little hallway where you can get dressed was really narrow. Breakfast was good. Enough choice and again the staff was very friendly and served us with anything we needed. The location of the hotel is "ok" it was not in a real busy part of london. It is situated between two tube stations. So you had to walk for about 7 min to the tube. There are some restaurants around the hotel and places to get some coffee or pastries in the morning. If I would visit london again I would not stay again only because of the small rooms which are not really practical. If you don't mind to have this discomfort than the Mercure London Bridge is a perfect choice. They do have a great staff and nice breakfast.

Het hotel ligt centraal in Londen, goed bereikbaar met metro en bus. Nadeel is soms dat het net ten zuiden van de Thames ligt en grootste deel van het centrum ten noorden. Buurt wel erg netjes en rustig. Kamer was klein maar wel netjes, alleen kussensloop oud en vergeeld. Personeel is vriendelijk, vaak niet-Brits en lastig te verstaan. Ontbijtbuffet was goed.

geweldige service en de beste kamer van het hotel
We hadden een driedaagse stedentrip geboekt en waren vroeg aangekomen in het hotel. We vroegen ons af of we onze bagage konden achterlaten om later in te checken. Onze kamer bleek om 10.00 am al klaar en beschikbaar en we konden meteen erin!! Daarnaast kregen we de beste kamer van dit hotel toegewezen!! Een suite voor ons gezin!!

Leuk hotel, op een rustige plek en lekker centraal
Wij hebben een aangenaam verblijf gehad in het hotel. Kamers niet zo groot, maar heel netjes en schoon! Personeel zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Prima restaurant met een goede Italiaanse keuken en niet zo duur. Ontbijt daarentegen vonden wij te duur! 16 pond pp voor een Engels ontbijt, terwijl je aan de overkant van het hotel een lekkere bakker hebt zitten waar je voor 16 pond met z'n tweeën heerlijk kunt ontbijten!

Nice place and affordable
My son and I stayed at the Mercure hotel for four days in January. It is located at a convenient spot that is pretty close to the underground metro stations and also the Borough market. Breakfast is decent but nothing impressive. Room service was fine and fast and delicious chicken and check out was a breeze, friendly staff overall clean hotel.

The Hotel were great and very helpful an the hotel was great nice clean, well decorated, more than enough for one night. Our issue was the Marco Pierre Whites and the bar staff. We ate there because of the time and myself being Diabetic needed to eat. The bar staff had no personality were quite miserable as though they did not want to be there, we ordered around 7:15 and had to wait 30mins for a drink and ro get our starters. The mains came out and i had ordered onion rings extra, which came out burnt. But i was not impressed with the food, i expected better. The chips seemed as though they were frozen, as did the onion rings, My wife had a glass that was dirty and her Lasagne again seemed to have gone through a microwave because when of how hot it was and by the time she had finished the bottom of the dish was atill hot. Although we had to chase food and drinks because we felt the service was poor, we had to return the onion rings at no point did any member of staff, offer an apology, also we were only offered one menu when it became apparent that there was an Al le carte menu NEVER eating there again.

I really like this hotel it's small in a great location. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable people that can get you to your destinations in the easiest wsy. Location is an easy to any place that you want to see (main sites), great area for coffee, restaurants, anf the Tate Modern museum is across the street bus line is right out front, there's very little to dislike about this hotel and its location. Would become a repeat offender easily.

Perfect Stay
My daughter and I were staying at the hotel as it was her hen do on the Saturday. The stay was great. I have stayed before so the hotel was my first thought of where to stay. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was brilliant, loads of choice and reasonably priced. And when we returned on the Saturday night there was a nice surprise of a slice of cheesecake on a plate that said congratulations and 2 flutes with a small bottle of prosecco. Really nice thought.
