Comfortably located on a 1 minute walk from Earl's Court station.
We had the 4 person bedroom (room 40) on the 4th floor. Having read many reviews upfront, let me start with telling you this:
Yes, it's an old hotel with squeaky floors.
Yes, you have to climb 4 floors with your luggage (by yourself)
Yes, the shower isn't made for people taller than 5 ft 8.
But wow, this was by far the best 4 person room for friends "on a budget", we've seen so far in London. It's clean and the space was more than average we've seen so far in London hotels. The beds were great and because you are on the top floor (instead of a basement as most 4 person rooms in London), you could safely leave your windows open.
There didn't seem to be an airco, so in summer times, it potentially can get warm up there.
There is a luggage room available and the reception provides you with a map of London instantly. We haven't tried the breakfast, because London offers many nice places to have your first meal of the day.
The neighborhood is nice and lively, with many pubs and restaurants. Within 10 minutes you are at Piccadilly Circus, or Victoria station.
A great hotel, for travelling with friends, who just want to have a clean and spacious room to sleep.
