"Accommodation was very dated but clean. Front desk staff were really friendly and helpful. Good mattresses. No breakfast, but a small area with two tables where you can eat your own. Great place for getting breakfast and smoothies at the bottom of the stairs to the subway station, which is open 24/7. Free coffee and tea available 24/7 in the hotel breakfast area. The hotel is located next to Queensboro Plaza subway station so that’s a little noisy but makes it super easy and quick to get to manhattan with many subway lines running from there or Queens Plaza, which is only a few minutes further down the road. Lots of construction going on in the area during the week. Excellent price for the quality. We really enjoyed our stay. "

"The hotel had various subway stations at walking distance max 5 min walk. The rooms are not small and quite big for New York standards. The hotel itself is a little outdated but is is very comfortable. It has a large fitness room and self service kiosk and small restaurant. A very good place to stay to explore New York by subway. Rooms are cleaned every day and AC was working fine."
