The room was reasonably appointed but showed a lot of wear but most importantly I killed 8 cockroaches in the bathroom.

The room smelled funny upon entry. Took a shower and realized it had to be mold because tub spiquet sprayed water everywhere. Tub gave sense of vertigo stepping into center as it popped. No nonslip surface in tub. Potential fraudulent use of reservation credit card as we paid cash at check in but had approximately $300 in charges for new clothes try to come through within days of getting home. Maintenance and general upkeep was severely lacking. Owner was not in the office when we checked in and daughter had to call him to figure out the change as we paid cash, then gave us too much back and had to go back to get it straightened out. Neighborhood was questionable.

The Bathroom stinky. It smell poop coming out in the toilet. As if the safety tank is full of dirt and the bad smell was coming out ftom the bathtub hole and toilet hole. I am very frustrated. The receptionist at the same time the handy man pour clorox and told us after 15 the bad smell will go away. It even get worst because the smell of the odor of clorox and poop/dirt mixed....it is horrible...... we want to transfer but he said no vacancy. We WANT OUR MONEY BACK.

I am so disappointed to hear that you were so dissatisfied with our accommodations and services and that our rating for your experience is so low. I want to assure you that we are thoroughly investigating this claim and that although we have not yet found any evidence of a pest infestation, we are taking the necessary precautions to ensure that nothing is missed. Of course, we did make a point of ordering an unscheduled visit and a thorough treatment for any insects that you may have seen within your room.

Stay away from Americas Best Value inn Los Banos
I had a work-related matter in Los Banos. When I got there 1- the Internet did not work. The Manager insisted the internet works for him while it did not work for me (Later I found that his computer was set up as a hotspot device. I tried to explain to what it should be set on and what the problem is. He answered that later his daughter will come and fix it. The daughter didn't come until the next day and she did not have an idea what to do. 2- While I was in the room, they started painting the outside wall, and the fume inside the room was unbearable. By this time I had lost 3 days of work and decided to get a refund and. to leave. Note, I had traveled from San Jose and I had no internet to make a reservation in another motel-hotel

I work all over California this is the first time staying in this area the rooms were clean the bed was comfortable and the water was hot the gentleman that greeted me was a very pleasant man fair respectful I enjoyed my stay I will definitely go back again
