Bell Lane Cottage
It’s lovely, everything you could need and all facilities. Fantastic shower. Very clean no problems. Suit 4 people, 2 couples probably. Lovely dressing room to back bedroom. Beds were super smart & clean. We had a small problem with back door key and a kitchen light switch as soon as we told Debbie there was someone there very quickly indeed. Parking permit was a great bonus included. Would return to this cottage.

Great Location
We stayed at Debbie's place for several weeks. The location of the cottage could not be beaten, close to the centre of town, with Ludlow itself proving to be a great town for exploring the region. The cottage itself was well-equipped and ideal for our needs as a couple, though the living spaces could be a little tight for 4 adults. Unfortunately the weather was not overly kind so we were unable to make full use of the garden area! Debbie was a very responsive and flexible host. Would definitely recommend.

It could be lovely. It needs some investment. The kitchen was grubby. The knobs on the cooker were greasy and covered in dust, as were the light switches and sockets, the skirting in the bathroom ,the towel radiator ( I cleaned) and the lamp shades in the kitchen and hall way at the back of the house. I cleaned the cooker switches lampshade in the kitchen. Cobwebbs. The window latches are loose. It needs some TLC. We enjoyed our stay in Ludlow. A pretty town. Friendly people and in a beautiful part of the country.

We are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay at Bell Cottage. However we feel somewhat confused and extremely disappointed by this review. We take great pride in the standards we provide at Bell Cottage and in the 6 years we have been hosting we have never had such a review. We have many returning guests and are always complemented on the cleanliness and homeliness of the cottage. If you were unhappy with anything , we would have been more than happy to come round and have a look. We would ask any prospective guests to read the many other excellent reviews we have received on this site and the other site that Bell Cottage is listed on for a more rounded view of the cottage. Cute cottage in great location
We had a fantastic week in this property. It was small but had everything we needed. The garden was a great plus as it was very warm during our stay. The owner was very responsive. Location in the old part of Ludlow was fabulous. Highly recommended.

Long weekend
The cottage was in the perfect position to enjoy Ludlow, an easy stroll to the town centre. The cottage was equipped well and very comfy, perfect for the 2 of us, the lounge may have been a bit tight for 4 adults. I was looking forward to using the outdoor space, but it felt like a bit of a jungle out there, it could have done with a bit of tlc to make it more useable. This didn't detract from our stay, and may just be my personal preference for a garden.

Lovely cottage in a great location
Had a great pre-Christmas break, the cottage has everything we needed and it's location in the heart of Ludlow meant we didn't need the car all the time we were there. We love the dog friendliness of the place and of course the wood burner made for some lovely cosy evenings. The hosts were really accommodating and we will definitely be returning in the near future.

Fabulous location in a fantastic market town
This two bedroom property is ideal for enjoying any time in Ludlow. So close to the restaurants, shops and castle. A highlight of the town is St Laurence church and its cafe. The kitchen is large and well equipped for cooking and eating meals. The bedrooms are very comfortable, though the stairs are a bit steep for large luggage and for trips to the loo in the night. We stayed long enough to need the washing machine and were very thankful it was there, and an outside line to hang dry. Highly recommend!

What a gem!! Fabulous cottage full of character fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Central to everything Ludlow has to offer and added bonus of parking in next street. Great communication with owner. Definitely return at some point.

Nice clean cottage but very noisy road at the front. Ideally located for touring surrounding area, free parking a bonus. Stairs not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties. Owner has catered for every need whilst on holiday and was always helpful with any query.

Belated 60th Birthday
Bell Cottage is a very old property in a very old , atmospheric and historical part of Ludlow. It is tastefully furnished and decorated as well as being well equipped for all your needs for a comfortable stay. We took my sister for a belated 60th birthday celebration and had a wonderful time in the beautiful market town that is Ludlow Des and Helen Ruddock and younger sister Tricia Ruddock

Perfect location
We had a wonderful stay at Bell cottage. We visit Ludlow most Novembers and this was the first time at Bell cottage. The location is fantastic, and parking less than 200m away even better. The owner organised us a parking permit so we could leave the car near the cottage for the 3 days. Very clean and comfortable stay. Will definitely be back.

Perfectly situated in central Ludlow
A beautifully maintained and well equipped cottage with some lovely extra touches from the owners. The courtyard garden was decked with lavender and roses and a perfect spot for a pre dinner drink.

Excellent cottage and location
Very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Ideal location in heart of town for restaurants, castle, shops and yet still easy access to country walks. Courtyard garden greatly appreciated by us and our border terrier. Don't be put off by apparent size at front - it has Tardis-like properties and widens and extends back to give good useable space. On street parking close by and no issues finding spaces. Highly recommended and will certainly use again.

Lovely ludlow
We had such a good time at Bell Lane, we felt at home as soon as we walked in. Small but perfect for the two of us, and Ruby the dog. It was cold and damp outside but warm and comfortable in the cottage. It had everything we needed and the icing on the cake is Ludlow a beautiful town with lots to do and see.
