Definitely not the best experience, not even a good experience. The owners obviously live at the property but probably not the best idea to have a piss up at your business during the week which escalates into a fight. Revving your motorbike probably also not the best idea while you have guests either. Overall worst place I have stayed in my travels by far. Please get your act together guys, your motel could be great if you found your passion for it!

The smoke alarm was missing. Comfortable bed and quiet location. The property is dated and could be cleaner in those hard to get to places.

The staff here are absolutely disgusting. The way they present themselves and constantly outside the motel every afternoon drinking and blasting music and always hearing them swearing and yelling. This made me and my family feel so unsafe. Then our room was disgusting. The floors were disgusting live they’ve never been vacuumed, our room was full of dust, it stunk, the fridge had a half eaten biscuit in it, our kettle had ants and water in it, both the shower and toilet doors don’t even close, we didn’t get the free wifi, our cutlery and plates were soaking wet when I went to use them and the toilet and bathroom are separate but right next to each other and the wall doesn’t go all the way up so you can look over into the toilet. Plus the shower is extremely inconvenient like they expect you to get dressed and undressed in a wet shower because there’s no privacy or doors or anywhere else to get dressed bar the shower

The rooms were clean and the staff are friendly. Made us feel like home away from home. Will definitely stay again next time we go to Mackay. Also close to shops.👍😊😊

worst property ive ever stayed at, rooms were that filthy i slept on top of the blankets, alot of mould in the bathroom (like alot) half smoked cigarette in the room on a bench, crap all over the floor, bugs and stuff on most surfaces, shower flooded straight out of shower room into basin area where drain was blocked so made it an inch deep. i wouldn't have stayed there if i was homeless so if you have this property on your site (wotif, expedia, ect) id take it down if you want any sort of good review on your page.

The layout was good but we thought it was a twin and would have 2 beds so one of us had to sleep on the floor. Which wasn’t comfortable. Was neat and tidy for a 1 night stay.

Mixed Experience
Clean, not very modern. Louvre windows with no security screens. Noisy air conditioning. No extra blankets for cold nights. Shower was good. Very close to movies and lots of restaurants.

The front view makes it look quite attractive, but that's where it ends. This is the office, and seems to include the owner/manager's residence. My room was small, with bedding for four, and linen was very clean. Sadly, the property was in a quite dilapidated condition, and requires a serious investment in repairs and refurbishment. Some of the electrical installations looked questionable.

Modest rooms. Has everything you need. No breakfast service though, but is nice and close to shops. Wi-Fi is a bit slow but not too bad. Neat and clean

Tatty and unusable wi-fi
On of the tattiest places I’ve stayed in a long time. Wi-fi connection so sporadic and weak that it was totally unusable. Cigarette burns on the blanket and some less than salubrious guests. Positives are that the manager/owner was friendly and the sheets and towels seemed to be clean. Wouldn’t recommend.

Central location not enough!
Pluses - Early checkin, clean sheets, walking distance to numerous eateries, Canelanes shopping centre, Bluewater Lagoon. Negatives - Very small, louvres- no security, air conditioning leaked, bathroom 1960’s basic. Had to sit in the stairwell to access wifi.
