Great time in Madison
House was clean and welcoming. Kitchen and bathrooms well stocked. The online description is accurate and would stay again. An addition of towel hooks in bathroom would be a help. May have left a pair of prescription sunglasses in a triangular case!

This was our first visit to Madison, and this property was great for our group of 4. The house was adorable, clean and in a quiet neighborhood. Everything was within walking distance, it was so nice! We will definitely be back. Madison is a wonderful place to visit and this house made it perfect.

This was so close to the river and great walking tour among the old houses . The house patio was great too. Fenced in yard for my small dog. So comfortable and cozy! Loved it!

We stayed in the area 3 nights and enjoyed quiet evenings at home, walks along the water, historic tours and Clifty Falls hiking. The home is spotless and well equipped. Perfect for a getaway outing.

Great Little Cottage
This little 2 bedroom was perfect for my sister and I for our "sister's getaway". The home is very clean and has all the amenities. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a great meal. The linens and towels were very nice. The beds were very very comfortable. The side porch has a great patio table and chairs and was perfect for enjoying the outside. We will definitely use Black Cat Properties again.

Super clean house with great location to all the downtown amenities, easily within walking distance. Street parking was easy as we were able to always park directly in front of the house. Will be back, for sure!

Wonderful anniversary getaway!
We stayed 3 nights in this lovely little Madison home and loved every minute. Everything was spotlessly clean on our arrival, topped off with a sweet "Happy Anniversary" welcome note and cookies. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed (except perhaps some rocks glasses for the fabulous bottle of bourbon we found at Madtown Liquors, but we made due :) The tree-shaded patio was a perfect way to start the day and end the evening... so quiet and peaceful. Also I must note that the bed and the bedding were amazingly comfortable! We couldn't have asked for a better location. Walking distance to everything. Although, next time we visit we'll probably rent a golf cart just because it's awesome that you can drive around town in a golf cart! We ran into friendly people and had great service everywhere we went. We loved the variety of shops and restaurants, and the riverfront walkway was beautiful. Clifty Falls State Park is a short drive away and shouldn't be missed. If you do any hiking, believe the trail descriptions when they say "rugged" - this is not an exaggeration! They are a challenge but you will be rewarded by all the natural beauty you'll experience. Thanks, Stew and Kim, for providing such a perfect place to stay! We'll be back again.

Lovely
Fantastically clean, great location within walking distance to shops and restaurants, nicely decorated including function and style, LOVED IT! The hosts greeted us with a welcome note and cookies! The kitchen was fully stocked for cooking and included lots of pods for the Keurig.Highly recommend.

Wonderful home base
This rental was perfect for our recent 3-night stay in Madison. The online description is very accurate, and the property is a short walk both from restaurants and shops (5-10 minutes) and the Ohio River (<5 minutes). The cottage was very clean and the hosts had cookies waiting for us on arrival. We would definitely book another stay at this place should we find ourselves back in Madison. Note: we were just a party of 2. We think the property might feel a bit tight if you have 4 adults.

A lovely home close to everything
The house was exactly as advertised. The kitchen has everything anyone would need. The living room furniture was comfy and cosy. The Beds were soft and comfortable. All necessities are included: soaps, trash bags, TP and tissues, etc. Stew and Kim were available at any moment to answer questions. We had a good time, but many places were closed on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, so take that in consideration before you book.

Anniversary Weekend getaway
We planned out a li getaway for our anniversary and chose Madison, In. as our destination. This home was a perfect place to call home for a few days while we ran around spending money. The home was cozy and located in a quiet neighborhood with lots of cool Olof houses. We really appreciate Stew and Kim’s hospitality,. from the Happy Anniversary sign and goodies on our arrival to letting us check out late. It was a great time.

Wonderful getaway
This trip was just what we needed. My husband and I wanted a hassle free getaway, and that is what we got. The house was clean and had plenty of amenities. We slept great in the comfy bed. We cooked several meals and had everything we needed to do so. Very pleased with the house. The owner was very responsive when I had a question.

The beds looked and felt smaller than a queen size bed, but the house overall was very nice. Very clean, very well stocked, and very convenient to everything. There is no grass on the property, so taking our dog out was not as convenient. Great property!

Beautiful home, (cottage). The home is just as it is described on the website. We travel often, this has been one of our favorite places. Easy walk to the river and easy walk to the downtown area, a short drive to Clifty Falls. Madison is very beautiful. We were able to bring our dog which is a big plus for us.

Perfect little cottage

Cute well-appointed house in great location
Great east side location only two blocks from the river and two blocks from Main Street. Walking distance to everything. The house had everything you need including extra towels, blankets and lots of Keurig coffee pods. Very comfortable inside and a very nice little outside area to enjoy the weather. On street parking was no problem at all. I highly recommend this property!

What a cutie this little is!
Decorated so cute. Plenty of cleverly arranged storage. You could stay here for a long time and everything you need is there. Plenty of cookware for eating in, out door space to sit and enjoy morning coffee and for our two fur babies to be outside with us. It was spotless. Convenient and short walk to river. It was perfect. Checkin was so easy as was reservations. Thanks to the owners for the great little gem.

Had to visit the area for a wedding, and this property was perfect for our needs. Clean, convenient, and cutely decorated. Love the kitchen cabinet door handles!! Owner was quick to respond to a question I had before arriving at the house. Spoke with him on the phone at check out and he was very courteous! Would definitely recommend this property!
