Verblijf Hotel Las Cortes
Locatie is prima. Centraal gelegen en vlakbij de bekendste musea, maar toch rustig. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding is slecht, kamers zijn gehorig. De prijs is, in vergelijking met andere aanbieders te hoog.

Leuk hostel vlakbij de stad, alles op loopafstand
Perfecte locatie in t hartje van Madrid in een rustige zijstraat. We hadden 4 persoonskamer schoon, netjes, leuk ingericht met verduisterend gordijnen. Ook heel vriendelijk personeel en erg behulpzaam. Min punten: de matrassen waren erg slecht. Ik denk dat de viering versleten is, je slaapt niet comfortabel je voelt de viering hard op alle klanten. De eerste een paar dagen valt het mee, maar daarna merk je het wel in in je rug en je slaap rust.

Prima basic verblijf. Sterk punt is de ligging. Midden tussen alle belangrijke bezienswaardigheden. Enige minpuntje, het is van buitenaf niet goed herkenbaar. Dus even zoeken als je voor het eerst komt.

Leuke hostal centraal in het centrum van Madrid
Het hostal ligt rustig gelegen op loopafstand van metro in het centrum van Madrid. Je ondervindt weinig hinder van de stadsdrukte. De kamers zijn prima voor een citytrip, voorzien van nette douche/wc, tv en magnetron.

Eenvoudig hostal met bijzonder goede locatie
Eenvoudig hostal, keurige nette kamer met erg kleine badkamer. Maar de locatie vergoed veel. Gelegen achter het Thyssen Museum ligt het bijzonder centraal zodat het centrum van Madrid grotendeels lopend te bezoeken is.

Agradable por el precio, comodidad máxima
LA zona está super bien, cerca de los bares hacia la Puerta del Sol, zona segura. El cuarto es excelente, cómodo, la ropa de cama como de 4 estrellas, el baño excelente, todo muy bien por el precio

Excelent location. No frills hostel. Clean and coz
The location is the best. I was within walking distance of everything in my itinerary. Less than 20 minutes walking. The room is clean, has the basic features. If you are looking for a base camp in Madrid, this is it. Staff is great and friendly.

camera al primo piano molto silenziosa affacciata su un cortile interno,molto pulita e materasso comodo mobilio essenziale di negativo ho trovato l'ambiente troppo piccolo per tre persone, tapparella rotta legata con una corda...ci si girava a fatica e un bagno cieco quasi inaccessibile tanto era minuscolo , con aspiratore rotto e senza bidet ma nel complesso l'igiene e la pulizia prevalevano sugli altri inconvenienti

En la habitación en la que me encontraba había una luz de emergencia que molestaba para dormir por la noche. Hablé con el personal (que quién diría que su trabajo depende de tratar con educación y atención a los clientes) para pedirles que la desconectaran. Dijeron que "sí, que la quitarían"...pero no dijeron cuándo (desde luego en mi segunda noche no).

Short break in Madrid
Had a week in Madrid. Just wanted basic accommodation (bed, washing facilities, wifi), this place fit the bill the perfectly. Close to Prado museum, and not far from anywhere else. It's up a side street so not too noisy, I would recommend taking ear plugs tho as it's still in city centre (you can't escape traffic noise). Would stay here again if in Madrid, convenient and well placed. I had a private bathroom, don't do sharing.

The location is perfect. You can walk to almost all attractions. The staff is very friendly. The bathroom is quite small, even by European standards, and the beds are hard. Overall, it was a good stay for the price.

Petit hôtel situé au coeur du centre-ville de Madrid. Métro à 3 minutes de marche. Bars, restaurants, magasins, etc... dans les environs à 1 minute de marche.

Superlage des Hostels in einer sicheren Innenstadt
Was jemandem, der vor 15 Jahren zuletzt in Madrid gewesen ist, sofort auffällt ist die große Präsenz an Polizei. Auch an den Bahnhöfen (Fernzüge), ja selbst bei den Museen werden Person und Gepäck gecheckt. Dadurch erhält man aber auch für abends eine Sicherheit vor Kriminalität in den vielen Gassen, denn man kann alles zu Fuß erreichen, was zwischen Prado und Palazzo Reale liegt. Da hatten wir damals anderes erlebt. Ansonsten hat sich M. nicht verändert, höchstens die Werbung ist eine andere. Essen und Trinken ist rings um den Plaza de la Sol, wo sich die typischen Tavernen mit den bunten Kacheln befinden, günstig und das Personal immer sehr freundlich und ehrlich (Museo del Jambon + Tia Cibolla waren unsere Hauptlokale). Einer Flamenco-Show sollte man sich trotz Touri-Bedenken nicht entsagen (ca. 32 € p/P 1 h). Sie werden u.a. im Villa Rosa (herrlicher Innenraum, draußen zig Kachelbilder), wo wir waren, und im Cardemon angeboten. Man sollte ein paar Tage vorher buchen, um gute Plätze zu erhalten. Geht nach Reihenfolge der Anmeldung. Dann braucht man auch nicht schon zur ersten Stunde dort zu sein, wo gegessen wird. Obwohl das Essen auch dort nicht teurer ist als außerhalb (a la carte). Sehr angenehme Bedienung. Es besteht aber kein Verzehr-Zwang. Die Flamenco-Show wurde von fünf jüngeren Künstlern vorgeführt (2 Frauen/Tanz; 1 Mann Tanz; 1 Sänger und 1 Gitarrist). Man gewinnt einen mitreißenden Eindruck von dieser Tanzart. Das Ensemble wechselt aber täglich.

ホテル自体は良い。立地、お部屋は満足！しいてゆうなら玄関、フロアードア、お部屋と鍵を3つ渡されるが玄関とフロアードアの鍵が本当にあきにくく苦労した!!

Schönes Hotel direkt im Stadtzentrum
Ich bin mit meiner Freundin für 3 Tage nach Madrid geflogen. Da wir viel anschauen wollten, haben wir uns auch ein Hotel in der nähe vom Stadtzentrum gesucht. Die Zimmer waren etwas klein und das Klo auch, aber es war sehr sauber und jeden morgen kam auch eine Putzfrau. Die Klimaanlage hat auch gut funktioniert. Nur dass sie leider ein bisschen getropft hat, aber wir bekamen sofort einen Eimer und Handtücher zur Verfügung gestellt. Wir hatten nur Probleme die Eingangstür auf zu bekommen, wie andere anscheinend auch. Also am besten sollte man es sich zeigen lassen :) Aber sonst war das Preis Leistungsverhältnis super! Würde ich sofort wieder nehmen! :)

Close to the city centre
We had a lovely welcome from the staff. It was a small and basic room but had a reasonable shower, tv, air con and a decent bed. The view was just an internal courtyard but all we needed was a bed and a shower so for our stay it was no problem at all. Happy to go back

The room was small, looked like it was stuck in the 70s, and the bathroom is extra small. I luckily wasn't in my hotel room for the most part. No one speaks English, which wasn't that big of a deal for me, but might be for others.

Proche de tout resta, visites,métro, centre ville. Le personnel fait ce qu'il peut pour parler anglais et s'il peut vous aider il le fait. Par contre, il y a des soucis comme la vue sur un hôtel en face à un mètre seulement avec ronflement de la clim en permanence, il faut garder les clés de l'hôtel (et oui pas de la chambre)sur soi et en plus elles ouvrent pas facilement la porte pas cool quand on rentre tard et que le personnel dort delà , la clim ne fonctionne pas s très bien et la télé est minuscule et que des chaînes espagnoles. Mais bon on est pas longtemps à l,hôtel donc bon rapport qualité prix.

The hostal is very basic. The room was clean, but spartan. However, we did have our own tiny bathroom. The water was hot, plentiful, and with good water pressure. The staff was very helpful, although one man did not speak any English so having some knowledge of Spanish would be very helpful. Given its great location within walking distance of the Prado, other art museums, and the Plaza del Sol on a fairly quiet street, it was a very good value.

Albergo situato in posizione centrale. Tutte le principali attrazioni della città (musei, edifici storici, locali...) sono raggiungibili a piedi. Le camere sono semplici, adatte ad una clientela senza troppe pretese, ma comunque pulite. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Consigliato.

We stayed over the weekend and so knew prices would be higher. However, the a/c didn't have a control and although the staff were helpful in resolving the problem we felt that the room was over priced.

Bare Bones in a Great Location = Don't expect much
This is really a hostel with a private, extremely small bathroom. You have to climb 3, very difficult flights of stairs. Really has almost no sign (Look for El Porto sign) and no lobby. Room needed a good makeover. Not much of a hotel at all but is in a very convenient location for sight seeing. Major museums are just 5 minute walk away. But, beware, you will likely be pretty disappointed about the quality of this hotel, even with the low rates.

Very nice budget hotel
The hotel is located at the heart of Madrid! A walking distance from Puerta del Sol. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. The room is pretty small though, but for the price it's more than enough :)

Fuimos a pasar un par de días a Madrid mi pareja y yo y estuvimos bastante bien en este hostal. La habitación muy limpia, aseo pequeño pero privado,muy importante en líneas generales calidad-precio muy bien. Recomendado. Además muy centrico.

Terrific budget hotel in heart of historic Madrid
Right behind the Spanish Paliament, a few blocks from the Prado, up the street from the famed Museum Thyssen Bornmemisza - who would expect this much of a 30 Euro a night hotel? With private bath? Yes, the rooms are tiny and barebones, but they do have everything you need (closet - check! Desk/chair - check! Window that opens - check! Night stands and lights - check!) Staff is efficient enough and helpful. One woman speaks decent English - rest of staff you'll need to use Spanish or gesture or something. You do get hallway noise, but the rooms are pretty well insulated against the outside, so street noise is not a problem. Bed was comfy, showers were unfailingly reliably hot. What's not to love? There's also a small grocery next door for snacks/breakfast in your room (hours not always predictable), and several restaurants (hours not predictable) on this block - but go up to the top of the hill and there's a nonstop commercial district with restaurants, shops, etc. Bonus: Taxis seem to like to use this tiny one-way street (Zorrilla) as a cut-through so it's usually easy to hail one right from the hotel entrance.

Durchaus zu empfehlen
Das Hostal liegt optimal in einer Seitenstraße hinter dem Abgeordnetenhaus. Es ist ein 1-2 Sternehaus. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt und wenn man auf Komfort verzichten kann, ist man dort gut aufgehoben. Man ist innerhalb von ca. 5 Gehminuten auf dem Plaza del Sol, dem Zentrum. Von dort gehen viele kleinere Seitenstraßen ab, die voller Geschäfte, Cafés und Restaurants sind. Wenn man vom Hostal 5 min in die andere Richtung geht, kommt man am Neptunplatz an. Dort fahren die Sightseeing-Busse ab. Außerdem gibt es dort ein Café/Restaurant, wo man gut und günstig frühstücken kann. Wenn man es etwas teuerer haben möchte, kann man nebenan bei Starbucks essen. Aber auch so, findet man überall Möglichkeiten zu frühstücken. Wir waren im Januar 2016 für 3 Tage (2 Nächte) dort. Die Innenstadt war für uns schon voll genug. Teilweise war es schon extrem voll. Ich würde daher keinem empfehlen in der Saison dorthin zu fahren.

Solo traveler
The room was well represented in the description. The neighborhood is very close to Plaza del Sol and many good places to eat. Easy walking distance to everything. As a solo traveler, I felt safe and the hostel staff was even able to lend me an electricity converter when I found I had brought the wrong one.

Ideal para un fin de semana
Aunque el baño es mejorable, es un hostal muy limpio y personal agradable. Muy tranquilo aún estando a dos minutos a de la puerta del sol, cosa que nos ha sorprendido gratamente. Recomendable para escapadas de fin de semana. El único inconveniente es que sólo ofrecen servicio de alojamiento y que no hay ascensor. Volveremos sin duda alguna.

Superbement situé.
Hôtel situé juste derrière l'Assemblée nationale espagnole, proche de la via de Alcalá. Situation idéale, quartier calme et tranquille. Le prado se trouve à une centaine de mètres, le parc du Retiro également. Cet hôtel offre un excellent point de départ pour explorer à pied le centre de Madrid. Le soir, la plaza de Santa Ana et ses alentours offrent de nombreux restaurants et des bars très agréables. Le confort de la chambre est un brin minimaliste (pas de savon ou de shampoing) mais les toilettes à l'intérieur de la chambre et le prix très intéressant en font un lieu que je conseillerai pour les budgets limités ou modérés.
