My daughter and I stayed here from 23/3 to 30/3 in a beautiful Seaview room. I can't give enough praise to the all of the Staff who made our holiday a brilliant experience. The front of house staff were so helpful and went out of their way to book taxis and suggest nice places to visit. The restaurant staff worked incredibly hard and the variety of food every day was spectacular. Cellists and violinists played guests into the restaurant and the Waiting Staff were super efficient. Our room was spotless and remained so throughout our stay. We can recommend the treatments at the Hotel Spa. The Staff there were welcoming and made us feel welcome and relaxed. The Hamam experience was fantastic. We loved the range of languages spoken by the hotel staff and also the kindness from local people that we spoke to. We had never been to Turkey before but this experience is definitely one that we would love to repeat.

I really couldn't fault our stay at Arum Barut Collection. Beautiful, spotlessly clean hotel. Amazing buffet, such a wide selection of beautifully cooked food. Nice wine, lovely bar overlooking the beach which was perfect for a pre dinner glass or two watching the sun set. All of the staff were super friendly and accommodating. The barman in the lounge bar had an amazing memory for our preferred post dinner tipple. In terms of entertainment, our room was close to the pool bar so we often listened to the live music from our balcony. I can't comment on the entertainment elsewhere. We were travelling just with our youngest 16yr old son. He made full use of the gym. Also recommend a visit to the hotel clothes shop where the lovely shop owner will show you a range of top brand t shirts etc at competitive prices. Outside the hotel, we walked into Side daily along the sunny prom which was bursting with bright flowers and interesting planting. It was maybe a 40 minute brisk walk but busses run from outside the hotel if you don't want to walk or you can call a taxi. Lots to see in Side. The ampitheatre is a must as is the museum. Will certainly return. I miss that buffet so much!!

Disappointment
The staff was informal, the brands of the drinks were modest. The sea was all covered with large rocks. Also, there was a water sports company just next to private beach. The jet boats cause large waves which makes the swimming experience unbearable. To sum up, last year we had a wonderful vacation in another Barut hotel. However this one was a total disappointment.

It had been shared with the agencies we work with that there were rocks in the sea. It is stated on the hotel's website that it is rocky in the sea. The rocks are visible on the hotel website's pictures. Water sports are external suppliers. We could have asked the water sports to drive the water machine away from hotel line. If you had contacted the managers of the hotel for your other complaints, they could have helped you correctly to make your stay more comfortable. In addition, all the services offered in the hotel to guests to be consumed in the hotel. The Arum team

Not so good!
Our stay was average. Our expectation was high considering this is a 5* resort but there were some obvious issues in the hotel. Ill list both good and bad points. Good 1) Main restaurant had alot of variety of food 2) The grass, flowers and plants were nicely landscaped and maintained well. 3) The chinese restaurant was reeally good. The food was fresh and service was top notch. 4) The room/villa was big enough. 5) For kids, they provide milk, good stroller, high chair as and when required. Bad 1) Biggest disappointment was they stop heating the pool in May and expect the weatger to heat up (trying to save costs). We had not so hot days (max temp 24 with low 17) so the pool went really cold. Therefore, we cant really use the pool. They also for some bizaare reason close the indoor pool (only allowed for aquabike). It wasnt heated either so we were shivering. This might be hotel policy but this is a 5* hotel where we spend huge amount of money and expect that the main purpose of our trip is taken care of. Hugely disappointing. Ofcourse you cant use the slide because you will have to deal with cold water. 2) Wifi signal wasnt consistent. 3) In the main restaurant, 90% of the plates had rotten egg smell. They dont properly clean their plates . 4) Burger Inn restaurant was aweful with buns which were breaking up and patty that felt like McDonald's. 5) Bonsai restaurant had salty food Passterrrie had old not fresh pastry. 6) Some of the staff didnt know how to speak Englis

Bra, men saknar det lilla extra.
Det största problemet är att alla röker över allt...på frukosten, i barerna och på restaurangerna. Ska du sedan ha solstolar på deras fantastiska brygga....får du gå upp klockan 05.00 och boka stol, det kan jag leva med...men att sedan de som bokat INTE utnyttjar sin solstol under hela dagen utan kanske en timme mellan 16.00.17.00 då blir det ett stort problem. När man sedan påtalat detta för Guest Relation sticker de bara huvudet i sanden och låsas inte om problemet. Vi hade ett Deluxrum som var MYCKET bra i standard och storlek, men saknar öl och vin glas, finns inga glas över huvud taget. Maten på buffen och i restaurangerna är OK...men saknar all typ av kryddor, väldigt smaklös.

Otelde bulunduğunuz süre zarfında size en iyi hizmeti sunmak ve sizin için kusursuz bir tatil hatırası bırakmak için öncelikle sizi tanımaya çalıştık. İlk olarak siz otele gelmeden 1 gün önce bize göndermiş olduğunuz son kat oda isteğinizi, ön hazırlığımızı yaparak giriş gününe çok kısa bir süre olmasına rağmen yerine getirdik. Sizi tanımaya yönelik girişimlerimiz, sizin otele girişiniz itibariyle 3 farklı resepsiyonist arkadaşımız tarafından devam etmiştir. Otelimize giriş gününüzde resepsiyonda çalışan arkadaşlarımız, uzun bir süre zamanlarını seve seve size ve eşinize ayırarak rezervasyonunuz olan standart kara tarafı oda tipi yerine almış olduğunuz oda tipinden çok daha yüksek kategoride olan ve daha pahalı olan 3 farklı oda tipini göstererek ( ilk gösterilen oda istediğiniz gibi son kat ) sizin memnuniyetinizi sağlamaya çalışmışlardır. Buna rağmen C/in değerlendirmesinde bizi olumsuz yönde yorumlamıştınız. Yorumunuza istinaden sizinle iletişime geçerek, yorumunuzu değerlendirmek, yapabileceğimiz daha iyi bir hizmeti uygulamak adına sizinle görüşmek için size yapmış olduğunuz yorum sayfası üzerinden davet gönderildi ama davetimize geri dönüş sağlamadınız. Sonrasında Guest Relation Müdürü ve Ön Büro Müdürü beraber sizin için A-la carte rezervasyonunu gerçekleştirirken konuyu açarak tatilinizin nasıl gittiğini öğrenmek adına sizinle iletişime girdiler ve her şeyin çok güzel olduğunu ve her şeyden memnun olduğunuzu bize kendiniz bildirttiniz. 2 gün sonrasında ise erken çıkış yaparak otelden ayrıldınız ve otelden erken ayrılma sebebinizi denizdeki kayalıklar olarak bize bildirdiniz. Denizdeki kayalıkların varlığı tüm tanıtım kanallarında açık bir şekilde belirtilmektedir. Otelimizde iskelemizde mevcuttur ve kayalıklara takılmak istemeyen misafirler iskelemizi kullanmaktadır.

Très bien
Très joli resort à taille humaine. Bien intégré dans un parc, plusieurs petits batiments de seulement quelques étages. Mention spéciale au bar déco de la plage, charmant et cosy ! Nous avons été surclassés à notre arrivée, le top en famille ! Merci pour cette attention ! Nourriture variée et fraiche, également des alcools de marque ! Dommage les softs " à la pompe" et non en bouteille mais jus d'orange frais le matin ! Programme d'animation sympa ( parcours gonflable aquatique très drôle en famille) et sans obligation ! Bref une semaine à la hauteur de nos attentes pour cette découverte de la chaine Barut.

The staff were friendly, particularly Olga and the other aqua bike and aqua aerobics lady. The restaurant staff and GRM were great too. The big issue I had was lack of COVID protocol. Tables were not cleaned between guests, table clothes not removed and replaced for new guests, no hand sanitiser on entering the restaurant from the poolside (there was sanitiser when entering from the lobby). Guests were not told to wear masks in the restaurant when selecting from the buffet, although the buffet was served to us by the staff, which in these times was definitely preferred. The sunbeds were never sanitised or wiped. I think more could have been done to meet a better COVID standard, that said I am home got and well. These are challenging times for a large resort. I still enjoyed my holiday.

Property very good value for what you pay. If you have had the privilege to stay at the Jumeriah group of hotels or the One & Only in Dubai then I would say the Barum Hotels are more of a good 4 star than a 5 star, just missing the the attention to detail of a true 5 star. Saying that would I stay again?, Yes purely because of the value for money that you get.

Entertainment, first class professional acts both for evening show & live music. Felt the entertainment team were a bit of a let down & not up to the standard of the other Barut hotels, with the exception of the childrens entertainment team.

Unsere Unterkunft war toll , leider hat man uns die erste Nacht in ein Doppelzimmer gesteckt , nicht witzig ! Am folgenden Tag , mittags sind wir unsere Suite mit Meerblick gezogen . Nicht ganz preiswert aber wirklich toll .

Этот отель достался нам случайно! Изначально бронировали и ехали в Санрайз. Но там для нас не хватило мест (отель был переполнен), хотя бронировали и оплачивали за 4 месяца! Кароче, отель Санрайз Сиде - полный трэш!!!((( не советую всем!!! Огромный и бестолковый((( В итоге, благодаря специалистам Hotels (огромный респект!), нам предоставили отель Arum Barut Collection! И тут мы попали из ада в рай! По полной прохватили концепцию ultra AI ))) Barut - сеть турецких отелей (всего их 12), премиум класса! Обслуживание, еда, напитки, номера - суппер, суппер, суппер, суппер! (набрал +8 кг) Всем рекомендую!) Персонал начинает облизывать, начиная от шлагбаума, заканчивая дверью в номер))))) Из минусов - пляж не айс!( дно не подготовлено (камни) и вода от песка мутноватая((

Eine wunderschöne Anlage, sehr höfliches Personal, gutes Essen und eine super Wellness Bereich zum entspannen. Da wird sehr viel wert darauf gelegt das die Geste glücklich und zufrieden sind. Man fühlt sich rundherum wohl. Jede Zeit wider 😊

Wir sind normalerweise Stammgaeste in das Barut Acantus & Cennet Collection, dieses Hotel verdient unsere bescheidene Meinung Collection gar nicht, Jakobs Pulverkaffee im Restaurant und neben Frischer O-Saft, Automaten mit Wasser und Konzentrat als Saft das geht gar nicht!!! Essen ist auch nicht auf das Acantus Niveau eher alles Standart, Patisserie ist der Kracher fast leere Vitrinen und nur 1 kleine Jura Kaffeemachine, der Kaffee smeckt dort auch nicht. Aperol Spritz nicht da nur Import, dieses Hotel sollte direkt den Titel Collection abgenommen werden weil das Management soll sich mal das Barut Acantus anschauen das Hotel verdient der Name Collection, wir werden dieses Hotel leider nie mehr besuchen!!

Initially we had some hiccups on arrival. Emre the front office manager went out of his way to help to create a positive change and experience for which we appreciated. The hotel is part of the barut chain of which we are very familiar. The concept was the same and the staff here very friendly and very helpful. Customer service was excellent and we appreciate the kindness and hospitality, especially from Emre. Sea view room was excellent. Well appointed. Resort smaller than other Baruts we have been to but staff quality was excellent.

Weather was amazing the food was lovevely a good variety of dishes on offer but they do with serving some hot food after midnight instead of cold food as there Sistor hotel hameers do offer the option of hot food after midnight but overall it was a goo relaxing holiday

Sehr nettes Personal. Sehr viele Stammgäste.
Wir waren zum 2 Mal dort, es hat uns wieder sehr gut gefallen. Hatten dieses Mal ein Penthouse, war sehr gut. Essen immer sehr gute Auswahl und sehr geschmackvoll.
