Arrived on a Thursday to a friendly welcome. I knew they accepted dogs but didn't know how much it would cost me. I am one of those folks who travels to dog shows with my dogs, crates them in my room, keeps them quiet, picks up after them--and others who don't pick up their dog's leavings, which is disgusting--so when I arrived I was honest, said I had two dogs, asked them where the exercise area was, where the bags of droppings went etc. It would still have been 15 dollars per dog per night---a bit stiff. Apparently my asking about exercise areas and bag deposits made them realize that I was a guest they would like to keep, so it was lowered a bit but considering this was for a dog show and the visit was three days long, I would have hoped that they would have waived at least one day's fee but it didn't happen. I was the only human visiting the motel with my two dogs and since I do have a bad knee, I asked for first floor near a door--which they accommodated. Motel was quiet, except for the numerous trains day and night but was not overly annoying. easy in, easy out and comfortable for tired dog show attendee and my dogs. I would rather have a smaller dog fee even if the room rate was higher initially. Small continental breakfast each day from 6-9, coffee, juice, cereal, snacks. Was ok. However, watch out for extremely hot water if you shower about 7 am, hot water heater works too hard and the shower apparently cannot mix hot and cold water---yikes!!!!!
