'My birthday fell on Thanksgiving this year (it happens every once in a while) so my wife and I decided to have our three adult children, their spouses and all six of our grandchildren come and stay to celebrate and to give thanks together. My brother, sister-in-law and niece from Boerne, TX joined in the festivities (they stayed in the cottage and LOVED IT). The house was fantastic!!! The home is in a great location near the beach and close to enough to town for any last minute things we needed from Stanleys. The house was clean, neat and the house was well stocked with everything necessary for a great stay. We come to Matagorda often and will check their availability again. Take care, till next time!'

'I enjoyed this sweet little beach house with my two golden retrievers. We had a lovely time! The house was comfortable and the walk to the beach was not bad! We ended up driving onto the beach because it was easier with the dogs. This little house was just perfect!!'

'The house is gorgeous. New amenities, great location. There are chairs for the beach provided, a bbq pit, fully stocked kitchen and great outdoor space for hanging out. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable beds! Kids room slept 5 kids comfortably. We had little kids and they loved the bunk beds. Loved the everything about this house and since this is an annual family trip for us, we definitely plan to book again.'

'This is a nice house with a large area under the house to grill and relax. Plenty of parking across from the house to park my truck and boat. The deck upstairs if nice and the house is nice. Right on the river and backs up to Snappers and close to Waynes bait camp. We will book this location again!'
