Thank you so much for staying with us! I do apologize, our extended stay brand doesn’t offer the breakfast. We do have complimentary guest laundry. I do understand for the over night guest that’s not a huge perk, but our extended stay guests really enjoy it. I do hope you have a nice stay, and we truly appreciate your business. No ice readily available. Don’t appreciate an additional $25.00 “refundable” (I sure hope so)damage deposit. Not a fan of the Pantry at all. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff at check in was friendly

I am so sorry you are unhappy with your stay. The 25 incidental deposit is fully refundable and noted online. We have an ice machine on first floor and all rooms are equipped with ice makers in the freezer, if you are having challenges with your in-room ice maker, please let the front desk know and we can assist you.

Property was amazing! Staff was great! Just a small town. You have an applevees and fast food from there. I stayed 3 days on purpose when i could have stayed in other cities. Id stay here over and over again. The property was amazing

The overall look and features of the property are nice. Our room was beautifully cleaned by “Atlanta” before our stay. There is no breakfast which is fine and the rooms have a nice kitchenette, bathroom, and closet. They came to “update” our tv during our stay and took away streaming features so hopefully they will be up for future guests soon. The laundry is free but note that my partner had to wipe out the machines because they were dirty. Doesn’t seem the laundry facilities get used much though. The overall service from the front desk and manager are ultimately what will cause us to not come back. Granted it is McPherson, KS, but if you are LGBTQ or POC, know there are cheaper hotels in the area that feel more accepting and welcoming. McPherson Inn being one. Thankfully we are out of this town now!

It breaks my heart you were led to believe we are LGBTQ or POC intolerant, I personally have an amazing daughter that is LGBTQ, my leads on my team have mixed race children, I have great friends with transitioning children, please reach out to me to discuss this further and what lead you to feel anything other than a guest at our property. I have added additional cleaning of our guest laundry to our checklists, my apologies for an untidy laundry area. I honestly check it daily, but I will do better with a much more thorough inspection process. Thank you for bringing that to my attention. Wishing you nothing but safe travels.

It was a very clean, relaxing hotel. Just beware if you stay next to the stairs the floor below might turn in a noisy complaint on you because of people running up and down the stairs.

Booked through third party site. Paid for one type of room but it was not available when I arrived. Downgraded rooms with no offer of a discounted rate since I did not get the room I booked and paid for!

New facility. Very clean. Bed comfortable. We had a suite which was super nice. Was a little tricky figuring out the thermostats. The motion sensor light in the bedroom was very sensitive for someone who likes a darkened room. Would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic!
A relatively new facility in pristine condition. Exceptionally clean. The suite was adequate size and very comfortable with a comfy bed and excellent shower and bathroom. Best value for the money that I've stayed at in years. No breakfast, but use the nice kitchen or various restaurant options close by. Either is a better option than the unappetizing "free" breakfasts at most hotels. If I was in this area again for an extended stay I would insist on staying here.

My room was clean, except for the refrigerator had items left from previous occupants. The bathroom was clean, but only had one bathroom towel and no bath mat. Overall the room was okay. Hotel staff was friendly.

Port in a Storm
Clean, staff that went out of their way in a storm, and all of the features that Candlewood does best. I love the functional kitchen and access to free laundry. This is one of my new favorite locations to stay.
